Who gives a crap? I don't. I couldn't care less if she is guilty or not, she doesn't deserve life, simply because she was joyful and partying, in my opinion. Like i said i don't care its my opinion, and that's the only one that matters.

It isn't just an opinion when you pass judgement partner. And not giving a crap ? I think you do.

Kyrties

The thread that was closed was horrendous. Shocking even.

Can't wait to hear her back-peddle arguments tonight. Hopefully the days of trial-by-media are over!!!

My intuition tells me she is guilty...

The Law: Innocent until proven guilty....period....

Jury: Reasonable doubt.........obviously there was not enough evidence

NOW WAIT: We will be watching her closely the next time she is pregnant and has a baby!!!!!

Let's say a few years down the line ....it is found out without a doubt she did kill her daughter....there is not one thing the law can do about it...(double jeopardy).

Well firstly the cops had hard core evidence that it is was murder, funny how come the court didn't ask to do a DNA testing on body which they found in the vehicle?

In every case a DNA test is taken to confirm a dead body to whom it belongs to.

And secondly why was this supposedly case of Casey Anthony so important as a top headlines news? shouldn't there local news handle it? or is it that the mainstream news are running out of news or are covering up.

You scare me. Just because someone was out having fun that makes them a murderer? Bad argument is bad.

I would argue that once her daughter wasn't weighing her down anymore she wanted to go party.

Also, do you think if you murdered someone would you be going out like nothing happened? I would be too scared to leave my house.

Wow, you pronounce her guilty and haven't got a clue about the evidence. There was NO BODY in the car - that was found later in a park. The only thing they had on the vehicle was that it "smelt" funny.

Good to know people in this thread are continuing to prove my point.

That's our legal system, for better or worse.

Like has been said, IF she killed her, she's gonna have to live with it the rest of her life, so there's some solace in that should it be the case.

The world isn't always perfect, but we all gotta live in it the best, and most fair way we know how.

Peace

I'm absolutely disgusted by many of the comments in this thread and the other Casey Anthony threads that proclaim her to be guilty (with some almost dripping with desire to see her get the Death Penalty). Were you there? Did you see the evidence with your very own eyes and sit through the court proceedings day after day for the entire duration? I think not - yet you sit back in your basements judging based on what you've seen in the media.

Whatever happened to Innocent until proven Guilty? I thought that was the cornerstone of your justice system, something you crap on year after year about having fought so hard to achieve. Yet suddenly, because you saw it on TV, you pronounce her guilty and start imagining her lying on the death table with a needle in her arm? Would you be the same people who revel when someone gets the death penalty?

Absolutely disgraceful. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Bloody hypocrites.

I am one of those people that thought for sure she was guilty and I felt she deserved the death penalty. I was wrong....the jury says so....so I admit it. However...I am not a (bloody hypocrite)...I made a mistake...now I stand corrected....

The system worked, end of story. I think she did it, but only she knows for sure. Several careers will probably be ended over this, the family is ruined and at the end of the day there is no justice for the child. I winbder how long until Casey starts doing porn and ends up dying from an over dose or something along those lines?

What case you are talking about dude?
There was no body every found in a vehicle.
There was no proof of murder and they didn't find any DNA evidence.

Maybe it was said, that the prosecuters wish they'd have had a body in a car. WTF?

I really thought the jury would find her guilty just because a child was involved. I just didn't think they would want to put up with being harassed in public about letting a possible child killer go free.

I was wrong.

The jury did their job.

I agree and that is where our respect should be.

She is not getting off scott-free. She will be sentenced for the 4 misdemeanors she's guilty of.
Also, I believe she still has charges pending against her for forging stolen checks? If so, she may walk as far as the case with her daughter is concerned, but those 4 misdemeanors from today will come back to haunt her and will hopefully increase the severity of any sentencing from the forgery crimes.
She's also going to be quite known amongst inmates for killing her baby. Also, look at this, try to think of the instant negative judgements against her now everytime she meets someone new. A potential future boyfriend?
Nothing short of a conviction of someone else for the death of her daughter will ever take that away. I dare say the potential life she had facing her with Casey lying in the gas chamber vs. all the judgements, gossip, looks, etc will have been a far too easy death and punishment for this woman and the life ahead of her is going to be far more torturous than any lethal injection or gas could ever be, and with lasting results

I agree with you, a lot of people on here were 'hoping' for death like a lynch mob. I may have fallen into that category... at least when it came to the manslaughter charge. If i remember correctly, the defenses reason of Caylee's death was accidental drowning. imo, not watching your child, and your child dies under your supervision should of entitled some kind of manslaughter charge or equivalent... that and the lying to investigators. other than that, there was no proof of any wrong doing on Casey's part... (Sigh)

The emotional aggression towards this LOW DENSITY woman abroad is understood (a baby -pure innocence- died and no one paid for it NO CLEAR ANSWERS) A bunch of lies and misleading of data let her slide with smaller charges, so where is that EYE for the babies EYE is driving some of the more harsh comments and I can understand it. Its sad that as long as a sweettalker/lawyer can work the works ANY CRIME committed is almost beatable.

be well

He said he saw a better case out of rookies out in the back yard boondocks area....

The ball was dropped by both the cops and the prosecutors....

I can't say I'm surprised... I felt the same way, from the snippets I watched. The bungling was on the defendants team too...but in the end....the law dropped the ball.

Still, hard to believe the jury didn't go there. I haven't really delved into it enough to make an informed decision for myself, but her (now convicted) lies and some of the general details really seem to add up to her offing her kid....

So lying to cops is a crime? I can be charged to lying to police to save my ass, but nothing is done when police lie to suspects while tricking them in to admitting guilt? What a joke this system is.
