Soap Opera Fans - All My Children - Is Ending

Ok...Ok...I will admit it....I am a soap opera fan of this particular soap opera. I really like the story lines and the actors. It is a wonderful break at lunch time and takes me into another world...a short time to escape reality. Over the years I have really enjoyed it.

All right...I know some of you watch soap operas...but you don't want to admit it. I know you are out there!

ABC is going to replace (All My Children) with a food show.

I am sad that this program that has brought to me so much pleasure is ending. Anyone else feel this way?

I'm sorry you are losing your show. My mom was upset about this as well.

I'll tell you what I told her.

"That show sucks, watch Dr Who!".

Its much better and girls seem to fall in love with the guy instantly. And well, guys all want to be him.

How will I know what the latest fashions are?

I'm really bummed about AMC. To me it was the most up-to-date of all the soaps.

To me it handled modern issues better then any other soap.

I will miss it.

Tried it. And I'm a huge Sci Fi fan.

Loved Hex. Loved The Tribe. Tried Torchwood - didn't work for me.

Dr. Who Is just too corny.

AMC is seriously the only soap opera that I know of that if you watched it at any time in your life, and watch it again years later, you can still catch up!! They always bought back the classic characters!

Yep - - I was a stay at home for a while.

I tried all of them. AMC was just fresher. And you're right - they did back stories and rotated classic characters in and out.

I think I read somewhere they had the largest cast of any soap opera. Of course - that doesn't have anything to do with camera time.
