Did anyone see the two black helicopters over Cardiff Bay on Friday? There also wasn't a huge amount of noise from them. It looked like they were heading towards St Athan. I quite often see Chinooks going over, but these were single rotor, big and matt black.

Could you please tell us where Cardiff Bay is. Not everyone lives near you...wherever that is. And maybe some kind of map to give us all some more clarity of the situation? Do you live near a military base perhaps?

Lots of Black Helicopters seen around N.Wales recently too. No one seems to know where they are from.
Must be millitary.

London, Ontario, Canada heard and saw like 2 this morning, and another couple last night, hearing them all the time these days, it isnt too long till theyll be needed i think....

Remember peeples this is the season for the home guards to get out and get their uniforms aired out for two weeks apiece usually maybe even longer call outs for specialists.
Reserves all over the world are doing summer training everywhere right now.....
Still.....it does seem like military movements are on the uptick everywhere.....

I had a run in with a black helicopter the other day. I have tried not to over analyze it, but the conspiracy nut in me made me wonder about it.

I was leaving work and of course I was the only one left there at the time. As I was walking to my truck a black helicopter appeared over the tree line maybe fifty yards from me. Never heard it until I saw it come over tree line. It couldn't been 100 feet off ground. I swear I could have hit it with a rock if I'd had one.

It was a small round one. Had no markings on it and it had a ball on top of it above the rotors like a radar or something. Sorry don't know much about helicopters. It also had two arms or something protruding out of the bottom front at angles. Didnt appear to be guns to me from the few seconds I saw it.

What stuck out to me was that it was all black, windows tinted, and no markings. It also, as soon as I looked up at It, banked to its left and went back behind the tree line. Needless to say after many hours on ATS it made me say hhmmmmm?

I did a quick search for a picture of a similar one online when I got home, but didn't immediately find anything close to what I saw and then forgot about it until I saw this thread. Peace

I saw one going north-south in the upper north coast of Majorca (Spain) last summer. Completely black, in plain view, at noon, it made little noise and it seemed a big disgusting insect.

Not in Cardiff, but saw a black-painted helicopter that I would swear blind was an Mi-24 Hind (russian attack helicopter, very distinctive profile) land at Liverpool Airport recently. Couldn't find any airshows on that would explain it.
