Even if it is just a PR event but highlights the plight of the Palestinians, then so thats still a good thing right?. It's not like the Israelis dont have enough people doing corporate PR for them. We all know its an information war and seeing as the palestinian people have very little representation compared with Israel. Think the Israeli lobby vs the Palestinian lobby(is there one?). Think about how our media corporations report the conflict in the ME. So even if this is just a PR event I will support it and hope it brings more light onto the situation.

The only problem with your plan is the fact that neither side is content with a ceasefire. Both wish to exterminate each other. The Palestinians won't stop attacking Israel and neither will Israel stop building settlements and encroaching further into Palestine.
