CONGRATS… Communist Party USA Endorses Barack Obama and Democrats For 2012 Election

All I can do is shake my head whenever ATS members call themselves Americans and still support this POTUS

Obama just received a critical endorsement, The Communist Party USA. The Communist Party USA leader, Sam Webb, explains why he will continue to support Obama and Democrats in 2012. The Communist Party USA has consistently supported and infiltrated the Democratic Party.

Also note, Sam Webb, the leader of the party, called Obama a friend back in 2008.

I don't see your point. Democrats are destroying this country, I don't like them and their beliefs. What is so hard to understand?

How do you blame or label someone because someone else says something about them? Is that like criticizing Obama for getting the Peace Prize as if that was his doing too? I do not understand the point of this thread. Other than you needed a thread to rant about what you do not like as your last post claims.

It's easy, try to keep up, Democrats believe certain things that attract communist. Why else would they endorse them?

I can only speak for myself. And yes it is hard to understand why anyone who is not either a millionaire, a billionaire or in the Military Industrial Complex would defend the GOP these days.

I am not a Republican because I will not accept war as a business model or a way to spur American innovation, or as a means of profit and acquisition. WAR and waging war is the heart and soul of the republican party, not a necessity for our freedom or to protect us from terror (bogus) but a business opportunity.

I am not a republican because I favor ordinary workers and not their bosses.
I support the rights of individual Americans.
I am not indebted to the riches and perks provided to me from giant American Corporations and Global conglomerates.
Right now I have no problem, but it appears that you do.

Not so big.

Quit exaggerating this. The Communist Party does not have a strong infrastructure or base for that matter. They could never become a formidable force in national politics so just like almost all of the very small parties they endorse a member of one of the two leading parties. Who would you like them to endorse, the Republican? Common sense should tell you that would never happen.

Besides it's not like they are exactly thrilled with the Obama administration, even many Liberals are frustrated with him so imagine the discontent among Communists.

Why ATS is the right place for your personal displeasure with a particular party. That part is almost impossible to understand. Did you uncover a conspiracy? Are you presenting some unbiased grand truth? Nope. Kind of hard to understand what the point of this thread on ATS is. I totally understand why this might be in your diary or blog though.

Hrm so I wonder which party the KKK endorses. Lets villify them.
David Duke is a Republican and endorses Republicans; so by your logic, OP, every republican is a white nationalist.

This is a fun game lets! so who else I can find:

Christian Fundamentalists that bomb abortion clinics and kill doctors are overwhelmingly Republican, and endorse Republican candidates; so all Republicans approve of killing doctors...to save lives.

With just these two examples, the Commies arent looking that bad....should I try to find some more?

Is this for real? I mean seriously. "Democrats are destroying this country", "Republicans are destroying this country", this is getting quite old. If the best you can formulate as an argument is that the party you dislike is destroying America then you probably do not have a firm factual base to stand on. Quit this ridiculous partisan blame game. It is people such as yourself who are causing our country to be deadlocked.

Do you actually think any of this is news? It is a well established fact that Bill Clinton avoided the draft was a Rhodes Scholar and went to college in the USSR when it was virtually impossible for Americans to get into the country. It has always been talked about in the inner circles that Bill and Hillary were hidden members of the communist party. The irony is that the fued between the communists and the fascists has been carried over within the two US political parties. It has been such a smooth transition the American people haven't even noticed. The communists ane on the losing side of this battle as happened in Nazi Germany Anyone who can't see and understand what has occured will not see the same controlling elite pull the strings of both sides. Soon the American people will be lead to the slaughter camps only this time there will not be a super power to liberate and set us free.

and republicans believe certain things that draw uber right wing nut jobs to their cause. this does not mean that republican in general are uber right wing nut jobs or does it?

Aside from all the bickering going on in this thread, I do find this interesting. I never really considered how this Party would attempt to function in our society today, and I was glancing through this webpage linked through the OP's original webpage and I read this quote which I thought was interesting:

Otherwise, we find ourselves supporting progressive (and in some instances not-so-progressive) Democratic candidates. Apparently they see a big opening occuring for their Party right now, under Obama's leadership. On the same webpage linked above, there is a huge section called Possibilities Under Obama that lists their point by point agenda. Just a few of their points, which I find relevant, are:

In this new political climate, we can foresee winning a public option, like Medicare, in the current legislative fight over health care reform.

We can visualize enacting tough regulatory reforms on the financial industry that brought the economy to ruin.

We can imagine bringing the troops home from Iraq and Afghanistan, while being part of a regional process that brings peace and stability to the entire region.

In this new political climate, the expansion of union rights in this legislative session is not only sensible, it’s doable.

I find that these 'hopes' are shared by may people that I meet in daily life. I suppose I didn't realize these particular similarities in viewpoints between the Democratic party and the Communist Party USA, but I assume that these particular similarities don't really 'belong' to either party, and might be found in a few other political ideologies as well.

Anyway, thanks OP for forcing me to look into politics a tiny tiny bit... which is something that I usually don't like to do, thanks to the bouts of nausea that go along with it.

It is funny listening to people say how the communist party is not influential and that their endorsement doesn't mean anything. THEY HAVE A POTUS IN THE WHITE HOUSE . of course if the end game favored communism you guys would find a way to justify it and make it seem "ok". pathetic really. You Democrats make me sick

Just because we are not treating this story like you are does not mean we are Democrats. I told you it is no big deal because it is not a big deal. Socialists and Communists used to endorse Republicans in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Hell even Karl Marx wrote a letter congratulating Abraham Lincoln for his re-election and spoke very positively about him.

Are we supposed to act like Abraham Lincoln was a traitor to our nation because he got a written letter of congratulations from the founder of Communism?
