Wept

I sit and watch
The days go by
Breaking my heart
Of the outcry
As destruction sets in
As the life slips away
I sit and watch
Another day
Pass in
the
moonlight;
stars;
sky.
I sit and watch
Asking why?
One with such life
Would throw it away
Giving into
The morals of the day
Such a sad state
For a vessel to be in
Crimson tides
Floating sin
Tears of blood
Fall down my cheek
For I can not follow
What you seek
That road is traveled
With a heavy foot
With snarls and bondage
Deaths Hook
Quietly I will leave
With out a sound
Following to
What I am bound
The road with footprints
That are barely seen
Never understood
Tiles Glean
In the knotted twist
You’ve stepped
Selling your soul
This is when I wept…
