Depends on how you define concrete. Nothing in history is absolutely concrete besides...well concrete and stone. The majority of the history you have
been taught regardless of what continent you live on is fiction. However, like all studies one can apply reason, and likelihood, and language, and
traditions gives clues. If enough of them require the same explanation for continuity then one can be fairly certain.
Tell me how many trade guilds used “brother”?……. Friar? ……….language is as telling about history as stones.
