So what are the odds that a a couple of nukes were detonated down there?

Zero. Knowledge of the depth - 80 meters - eliminates any chance of nuke being used. Even mass media could not cover tsunami in Baltic region and whole cities being washed away.
On topic, while digging on the net i found that there are meteorite strikes in the general area (Finland and Estonia) and local legends involving some cataclysm. Maybe it is from that time.

Just read the article, and went here. Really interesting, I hope they put some effort into investigating this further.
My guess goes to asteroid crashing and the sliding, but hopefully it will turnout to be a extra terrestrial craft

Sadly, this is what happens when you have a tweaked-out Wookie navigator.

I would bite on this being closer to a UFO 15°13'59.94"S 62° 8'31.48"W Google Earth co-ordinates

LUCAS LIED!!! I KNEW I'd seen that shape before!

As far as an asteroid "sliding?" I don't think they do that. On a trip out West I saw the asteroid impact crater when I was "standing on the corner in Winslow Arizona, it was such a fine sight to see."

Looks to me like a big circular slab of poured concrete possibly for an oil rig that is slowly falling apart.

It could have fallen off a ship or ships transporting it and slid to a rest there, it would not be worth salavaging and would be left to fall apart.

Just was I see.

Thats very true. I know a freidn for example, he told me that his father living in Finland knew a small iland which was totally to 100% made from a meteorite..

He also said that the reason why his dad kept it a secret was because he found diamond dust in the rock.

Peppered with them so it could easily be a meteor strike.

It certainly has the look of one.

That was QUICK! Good job brother. I've been looking for the "Transfer internets" button on my Paypal account, but I just can't seem to find the damn thing. Guess I'll just have to owe you.

Too bad, so sad. Those damn Texans are just too fast on the draw. But since I'm such a nice guy, you both get a star for the effort ( and if PP ever puts up an "Internets Transfer" button I'll even throw in 5,000 for you too as a runners up consolation prize.

Its a gigantic fossil, round part is eye socket, squared part is tooth or '?' visible thru the socket (cuz its folded/ curled/stacked on itself). Leviathan, Cthulu, ancient dino-critter..
Or yes, the MF'n MFalcon. Either way... Awesome.

look at these pics:

www.airlandseaweapons.com...

a few of these roamed the baltic sea around the early 1900's. Not unrealistic as they were a warship that a few of them might have sunk. The one in the picture was 101 feet diameter, so it is slightly smaller than wht they are claiming the picture of the sea bed circle is. There were many refernces i could find to the prototype and first ship being 101 feet, but that later ships were made larger.
or the measurement could be off.
but this is my bet on what it is.

Interesting image, how far down is it?

Love these underwater anomalies - my favourite being the 150x100 mile rectangle that popped up recently on here from google earth, that was genuinely WOW, this... well interesting, but could have a myriad of explanations.
