This compilation speaks for itself. This man has no clue what he's talking about half the time. It sounds like someone who just learned something new and believes they're an expert on it because they read a paragraph on Wikipedia.

I don't believe anyone on ATS can take this guy seriously. He's more radical than Alex Jones, and far less intelligent.

When he first came to Fox, I watched some of his shows, which in the begining were not all that bad. When he went all pontificating it just got annoying. I wont miss him..

If you think Beck is done, I would say you're incorrect. He has become somewhat of a phenomenon in America and has a lot of people hanging on his every word.

I'll be interested to see what comes next for him.

Way to be tolerant of someone else's views.

I don't see you guys mentioning the other side however like Ed Shulz, Rachael Maddow, or Keith Oberman.

Bankruptcy!

He has invested MILLIONS of his own funds into this:

gbtv.com...

He believes that will take off, and eventually become his very own network.

All Beck, all the time.

I see bigger and better things for Glenn Beck.

Glad he had a run on FOX, because I never heard of him before that.

Great historian, and calls it like he sees it.

This scares lefties to no end.

Can't hold people like this down. He will prosper in his new endeavors.

Personally, I take GB seriously because there are many people who listen to him. I don't know his full platform, but I suspect it is right, conservative and republican maybe a dash of libertarianism, and capitalism of course. He is correct when he said, he would not be on the air if he was "wrong" about his conclusions and observations. But wrong or right seems to be more and more subjective these days. If they are selling advertising slots during his show for a good bit of cash, then he will continue to do what he does because of the profit involved. Rarely do businesses have a "loss leader" in their market unless they make those revenues up elsewhere. And even then, the loss leader is only temporary. I doubt that they kept him on air because the network truly supported his platform and really wanted to be sure his voice was heard regardless of ratings. Though that does happen.

So long Glenn...don't let the screen door hit you in the #ss on the way out.

Here's a great comparison of Mr. Beck to Lonesome Rhodes, the main character in the classic movie "A Face in the Crowd".

Prophetic Face in the Crowd

A snippet from the above article:

"A Face in the Crowd" tells the story of Lonesome Rhodes, a drunken roustabout played by a magnetic Andy Griffith. Discovered in a small town jail by an ambitious producer (Patricia O'Neal), Rhodes experiences overnight success as an Arkansas radio personality. He quickly evolves into a television sensation and guitar-picking American icon. With the help of the retired general whose vitamin company sponsors his show, he becomes a wielder of national opinion, a showman eager to comment on public affairs.

Eerie since "A Face in the Crowd" was made in 1957.

By god, this man is funny as hell in a compilation.

I'm laughing out loud. He's contradicting himself more than an audio version of the bible does!

Yup. R.I.P., err, farewell. He did help to "expose" some corruption worldwide, stuff that MSM would dare NOT touch, lest they be "fired" for being "truthful". I've learned lots from him but after a few minutes, my mind would drift off. Lots of information overload.

Why do you people hate him for it?

OK, the left has Olbermann and Maddow , the right has Beck and Hannity. Fair and balanced right? What's the hassle, dude?

Thank the Gods... Glenn Beck has always been a troll with to much TV time...

As if the world doesn't have enough ignorant Google Search Research Specialist.

Good Bye and God Bless.

So...the posters claiming he is a counterweight to what they consider left wing shills on MSNBC are finally admitting Beck is a right wing shill then? Or are they missing their own point? He was a financial drain on FOX and not because he was so "correct." He is sailing off into cheaper studios and not because he is so "correct." Much like Alex Jones, he burns through his audience. FOX news gave him huge reach and he had that many more to burn through that much more quickly. Radio stations dropped him, tv is dropping him.

When your entire career is around asking for money and impedning doom, you eventually have to deliver or find new sheep. Beck has a history of asking for money for "charitable" events that turn our to help very few and promises the end of the world is coming very very soon. This is why you never hear or read "I love Glenn Beck and I have been following him since he worked with a monkey." What you see are his newest fans that had no idea who he was more than 5 years ago. He is for the most part done but will live on like Rush Limbaugh somewhere in the weeds, preaching to his on insipid little choir.

Well, since I am the only poster who didn't say farewell to Glenn and said he balanced out the equation, I can only surmise you are speaking to me. In all honesty, I'm not a Glenn Beck follower or listener. I've caught him on cable a few times and heard his radio show once or twice.

Sure, it's always gloom and doom and that's what sells. Buy gold. Buy seeds. Buy freeze dried foods. When a Republican is president blame them for not doing enough. When a Democrat is president blame them for everything. That's just the way it goes. Both parties are evil, they both have their agendas, it's just that they try to achieve their goals in different directions.

Beck may be gone from FOX but I'll guarantee that he's not forgotten. He's built himself quite a following of people who hang on words like Soros, Agenda 21, United Nations, Sharia law and police state. Actually, quite similar in the way Alex Jones works.

Scare 'em, teach 'em, make them do their own research. If it opens one persons mind to the possibilities, I'd say it was worth it.

Most of the responses seem to be negative on Glenn Beck.

How ironic... they criticize him for doing what the majority of members here do on a daily basis. The difference is he has actually made a successful carreer out of it.

Success? Yes he is...he is heard on more than a few radio stations, seen on TV, has his own network...you may not like him, but you know who he is...and he has a crap load of money for doing it. Sounds like a success to me.

Most of us sit here and whine about things as if the majority here really care...Glenn Beck whines on national TV and radio...and many people do care. Good for him....

V1rt, long time no talk ol buddy.

But seriously....Did anyone make the connection between Soros and the global agenda on NBC?
How about CNN? Or maybe MSNBC?

Beck pointed out all the affiliations and strongholds that Soros has, even showed his viewers about the companies who helped get the POTUS in office, and showed his audience what economies Soros collapsed...
Thus proving what kind of people are actually running things....

And you poke fun at him?

All you people who are adamantly against Beck need to rub the crust off your eyes.
At least Beck did more than become an "Armchair Revolutionist".

The man drew connections from past presidents all the way to the current one, with full details about Agenda 21 and the UN Legion of Nations...basically outlined it all for his viewers.
Enough information to start really looking at who makes decisions.
Enough information to begin a true revolution.
Although everyone still remains apathetic.

I can't believe people still think he's a joke.

Shame on you people.

At least Beck had the balls to try and get people out of a slumber.
We all know he called himself an "entertainer", but none the less, his talking points are factual.
They aren't made up or just off the top of his head.
I give him a ton of credit for the things that were brought to his viewers attention.
At least now I can walk up to someone who watched his show and they know what the CFR is.
Or they know who Soros is.

The only thing I'd say I had a problem with was his sponsors.
But hey you gotta make money somehow.
That's what this country is all about.

The money.
