The Christians believe Sunday to be sacred. Their children do not go to school
The Jews hold Saturday to be sacred. Their children do not go to school
The Muslims believe Friday to be sacred. Their children do not..........Oh wait a minute. Yes, they do go to school.
You asked if Christians and Jews get to pray for an hour in the school cafeteria on their holy day. No they do not. They are given the whole day
off.
So give the Muslim kids Friday off.
OK...but the Christian and Jewish kids get their holy days off plus five days of school each week. Are you suggesting the Muslim children only get
four days of school or do you suggest that school be opened on Saturday or Sunday so the Muslim children can get their fifth day? Perhaps you should
take that up with the Teacher's Unions.
Muslim children are not getting more privileges, they are getting less. Where children of other faiths get a day off they get an hour in the school
cafeteria.
Would the average Christian feel his child is privileged if he were to no longer get Sunday off but instead received one hour of school time to hold a
church service?
Would you think it outrageous if that were the case and they even allowed a Christian priest or minister to come into the school to hold the service
rather than let the kids do it themselves or had it led by a non-Christian teacher?
I totally agree with you. I think this is outrageous and must be stopped. The schools should immediately drop to a four day, Monday to Thursday
schedule. That would be fair, yes?
