I don't know how I would feel. Someone shoots at me and I will take their life in protection of my own. But I would feel horrible about the whole situation. So I can kind of understand your situation, kinda.

Time will pass and the memory will get dimmer and dimmer. I wish you well in this dilemma

budsk - I agree with everyone else who said that you gotta do what you gotta do but on the flip side, it's not so easy for people with a conscience to just let it go. For us to tell you to go easy on yourself is simple because we're not the ones living with the guilt. You should find some solace in knowing that you're a good and decent person or you wouldn't be having these feelings of guilt and you owe it to yourself to go and get some professional help to reconcile your feelings. I hope you find some peace!
