Anyone know anything or want to take a guess at what this is all about?

australianinteriorauthority.com.au...

I'm guessing the beginnings of some sort of viral marketing for a computer game but it would be odd to be set in Australia. There have also been posters put up all around Sydney apparently.

Absolutely. I'm guessing either a game set in 2021 or has something to do with a big push by Tobacco companies here. They have plain packaging legislation coming and they are taking a whole "nanny state" stance on it so maybe it's them taking the "nanny state" idea to the extreme.

So a marketing company is behind it so now it's a matter of who they are marketing for.

It's viral marketing....

www.smh.com.au...

"All pregnancies must be approved."

It's an ominous future that the Australian Interior Authority has planned for the country, but for now much of it remains a mystery.

No doubt, all will be revealed soon enough.

The recent emergence of signs, billboards and online ads outlining the fictional decrees of the futuristic Australian Interior Authority have internet forums abuzz with speculation over what it's all about.

It's a classic case of “discovery marketing”, according to Simon Dell of Brisbane marketing company TwoCents, where online communities try to home in on just what the campaign is selling. And once they figure it out, they'll be more likely to buy it.

I must admit I'm intrigued! To me it looks more like a game than a movie or tv show.

Yeah, I am sure I have seen this logo on a wall in Newtown, Sydney, just the other day, in amongst posters advertising band gigs etc..........

I am gonna look into this a bit more and see what it is supposed to represent......The black eagle like bird thing in the middle is quite horrible to say the least, not too dissimilar to Nazi Germany...................

I was tempted to add my name, email address and my next door neighbours name and crime of being a complete idiot for playing his loud and crap rock music after one in the morning and keeping me awake, just to see what happened............but then I thought, noooooooooooooooooooooo.

Yeah but this is clearly a marketing campaign not a real organisation.

My first impression is that it isn't a government website which means it's either a private person or private firm.

Not much to do on their other than enter your personal details.

Answer: Email harvesting.

Yeah, it's certainly not serious.

Consider my email harvested
