I agree with the newer models being an issue.
Have to protect them from that wave.

I'd like a downdraft gasifier.

after the fuel is gone, gasification would be my option. i have an 83 toyota, carb, 4x4, w/ mech. fuel pump. working on a gasifier w/ scrubber. however, in a bad situation the goal would be to get to your bug out location as quick as possible . get set up for your alternate fuel in advance while fabrication is easy.

We have a CLASSIC!

1978 BJ40 with 2B motor...I am about to rebuild with a 3b kit to run Bio D. And will add the Man-a-Free 28g long range tank. At 25 mpg X 28g = 700 miles...there is a another tank that can be installed under the rear deck + 25 mpg x14g = = 1050 miles per fill.

Also a 4" HFS lift. Go just about anywhere!

On top will be the rooftop pop-up from Cascade.

Course this is just our weekender...hehehe

Regards and Nameste,
