So an already over populated country is getting heavier heavier. By this time next year the country probably will have sank

In all seriousness though the government should have stemmed this immigrant flow a long time ago.. makes me wonder if someone somewhere WANTED this country to go to (insert word here)

Makes me worry more about things like Chemtrails and depopulation in general.

Letting immigrants in was deliberate. You guys werent breeding fast enough to keep your entitlement system viable, (it requires a lot of young people paying more than they draw out) and so they began importing them. If you look at your immigration "point system" you will readily note that they want young, working people to come in, and help keep the ponzi scheme running because they dont know what else to do.

Sure, it causes all sorts of other problems, but they (and many other countries with nationalized retirement and health plans) dont know how else to keep them running and they fear the social and political repercussions of letting them fail.

Of course it also illustrates how silly it is to fear "depopulation" at the hands of your government. Its the last thing they want at this point. Someday, maybe. But at this point they are still trying to keep the population growing to keep the pyramid scheme running.
