Have we come to the point of no return? When has it become such a terrible thing to be honest or even truthful in our speech? And has there ever been a president that is so sensitive where people are afraid to speak ill of him, or to say what they really think?
These questions first come to mind when reading this article and viewing the actual clip. The audacity of the president to do that border lines that of censorship. In times past people could speak ill of their government, even the man who sits as a president without fear of reprisal. Ever since this president has taken office, it seems that any time speaks ill of him, they are claimed to be racist, and censored if not out right threatened, and this should not be, nor tolerated. In the long run, looking back at what all has happened so far in the year and over the past few years, the question arises up: Why can the WBC spew their hate and filth, and it makes front page, with no reprisal or stopping of their speech, yet speak ill of Obama and the person is condemned?

Yes, but only after the leaders of the tea party sent out emails telling their followers to "Tea Bag the Fools in D.C.". Those in charge of the protests knew what it meant, but many of their followers didn't. It was only after the rest of the country let them in on the joke that they took offense and then blamed the "lamestream" media for a label they had already given themselves.

I found out why all the comments are pro-Obama; the uploader has "Pending Approval" activated, so I doubt mine will get posted. Truth is I'm glad more and more are coming out about their disapproval/disappointment in a president who's quite honestly failed. We have a man who claims to be a constitutional law expert and yet enjoys spitting on the constitution in multiple ways; and yet apologist will continue to come to his defense, and call anyone anti-Obama racist, dumb, etc. It's quite sad.

Yeah I gave my two cents but i bet it gets cut. Ahhhh, breathe deep do you smell that? Socialism at its best lol

I guess he didn't get the memo, he can't call Obama names.......it's racist. Just one more reason I'll be glad to see him gone. I knew the race card would be a factor anytime he was disagreed with or insulted and yup, it just keeps going. Nice of the News people to lie though.....

It's known as proper decorum when on tv. The d word is one of the 7 banned words. Also there is a such thing called "PROFESSIONALISM" which is expected of every single person that appears on camera. You can speak out against the actions of POTUS but you must do it civilly, respectfully and correctly.

Now why would a group of conservative people know that teabagging was a homosexual term. The tea baging was to denote the boston tea party and the protest of taxes. Taxed Enough Already=TEA

Guitar,

All it is that a bunch of rich douchewads got a bunch of middle class people be in favour of their own screwing as they got the middle class to fight their fight all while evading paying taxes and taking advantage of every single tax loophole imaginable. When it is all said and done the rich will throw each and every person under the bus and say, "I got mine and screw you!" all the while not realizing that yet again they fell for another con and have lost their home, livelyhood and job as a direct result.

You get people to be in favour of their own screwing is all the entire premise of the Baggers are.

I also would not ever trust any group as far as I can throw them that has no centralized leadership that is too eerily similar to that of your run of the mill terrorist group and is accountable to none. When that occurs it is ripe for a dictatorship. When you try to question them on anything they are quick to attack, demonize and call you and Anti American. This group in reality is so Anti American it is not funny.

Wow what cogent, insightful eloquence. So by "reaming his ass" I take that to mean you would sodomize the POTUS on television which I believe is frowned upon by FCC.

Nice addition to the discussion, now run along and go tidy up your room. Make sure to put all those Transformers away off the floor and into the toy bin.

OK, at that point in their history, it was Much Ado About Nothing. Today, if someone uses the term 'teabagger' to describe the TPM, it is done in a malicious manner. It should not be condoned, much like the term "coal burner" should not be used to describe white women that voted for Obama.

That's ridiculous. Because they have no "centralized leadership" you liken them to a terrorist group? I say that the Nazis were the symbol of "centralized leadership". That's what "centralized leadership" gets you.

I'll make you a deal. I'll decide who I choose to reprimand from my side and you can do the same for yours. Fair enough?

Despite what you and my neighbors might think, I'm actually not the "Policeman of the World."

Evidence posted on this site more then confirms and validates what I say. I really cannot help it if you cannot see past the blinders that they installed for you and instead of defending this group to the death be able to show yourself to be willing to move this nation forward and screw this "My way or the highway" nonsense. Until you do I will not take you or this group remotely seriously.

First you point to "Evidence posted on this site more then confirms and validates what I say". Then you conclude with "Until you do I will not take you or this group remotely seriously". Totally contradictory. And your initial statement of "I also would not ever trust any group as far as I can throw them that has no centralized leadership that is too eerily similar to that of your run of the mill terrorist group and is accountable to none" is both fascist and paranoid. It makes absolutely no sense.

Nobody in JC is getting paid....

The entire Bagger movement is nothing more then the latest scam concocted by TPTB to get the people to continually vote against their own interests. They do not represent you, the nation but the financiers of the group.

The only reason why they exist in the first place is because millions of Americans see the "Left-v-Right" paradigm for what it really is, the greatest con job ever imposed and created in politics. They are losing their grip on power and realize they need to put something together fast or else they are going to lose hence why the entire premise of the entire group is to make Obama a "1 Term POTUS" and are not willing to do a damn thing to get this nation back on the road to economic recovery. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just the latest sucker.

Everyone's first indication on the true intent of the group is how they tried to demand scripted questions from the media. Also, nowadays how news figures like the recent Fox News interview with the channel's Chris Wallace who was forced to apologize to Rep. Michelle Bachman for asking a simple question. Since when ever were the little kid gloves required in the media?

To everyone,
In the event you are at a town hall with these people demand to know what they plan on doing about the economy and if you hear the same generic response recycled a hundred times demand who's backpocket they are in. Ask what they are planning to do about the mass exodus of American jobs. Demand to know about the repealment of the Bush tax cuts, demand that they work on fixing the nation. Demand to know what they plan on doing to fix the decaying infrastructure, demand to know what they plan to do to keep teachers, firefighters, police officers, civil service workers employed.

Anyone who puts their corporate donors before the nation does not care for this nation and shall be treated like the treasonist douchewads they all are.

JCPD recently thwarted a plan to lay off 53 cops.

Quoted for agreement, very well said! Those are the REAL issues we face as Americans. Bravo!

ON TOPIC:

It is too bad the Mainstream News Media is not bound by the same stringent rules as advertisers regulated by FCC and FTC. Outrageous claims must be substantiated (proven) or qualified by a disclaimer. i.e. "Results not typical" or "Your actual mileage may vary."

The political pundits and representatives who come on these shows and tow hidden party lines are generally referred to as "Contributers" as opposed to "Paid Spokesmodels" which they actually are.

And yes, political parties. networks and viewers are guilty of this. We cling to the flavor of News bias we like because familiarity breeds comfort. C-SPAN offers the only real unadulterated portrayal of our elected officials conducting the people's business. It is largely a long boring process infused with legalese. It isn't "sexy." My .02¢
