Federal appeals court rules health care reform bill is constitutional

Washington (CNN) -- The political and legal future of the sweeping health care reform bill received a big boost Wednesday after a federal appeals court in Cincinnati ruled in favor of the Obama administration and Congress, concluding a key provision in the landmark legislation was constitutional.

Well, talk about a deafening silence. What is utterly shocking and surprising, Faux news doesn't mention this story (gasp!...you don't say!?).

So lets hear it for the Conservative appointed judge that ruled FOR the Liberal health care reform law. There is a little common sense left, right?

Now that we are over this fight, they can get some real work done instead of political postering for 2012 (yeah right).

One of the Plantiffs named is the Thomas More Law Center, a Conservative advocate center.

Heres some of the ruling "We find that the minimum
coverage provision is a valid exercise of legislative power by Congress under the
Commerce Clause and therefore AFFIRM the decision of the district court".


So does anyone here have any comments on this development? I am especially interested in the Conservative's viewpoints on this.

The judge is wrong.

And next week another Federal Court will say that it isn't. Individual states need to say "screw the Federal Court system", and start nullification processes in their state assemblies.

This is kind of bitter-sweet.

Bitter because this is just another nail in the coffin of the once great US of A..

And sweet, because all the retards of this nation are going down with it.

I, for one, am tired of waiting, as much as I hate to say it, as much as I enjoyed my "pampered" life, I'm tired of waiting for the inevitable.

I doubt this is the right formula for what is needed but the US does desperately need some healthcare reform, not a system that is so expensive it has to be selectively administered and divvied-out by insurance companies.

No doubt there are some excellent doctors in the US, and there are some excellent surgeons that really earn their pay but by and large there are just not enough of the right kinds of physicians in the right places. for general medical exams and general care what is needed is more of technician-level qualified physicians. More Physicians need to be turned-out by US med schools, and let others train further to become specialists and surgeons.

Those with general office practices really consider themselves too qualified, too well-paid, and too special to actually spend quality time with their patients. Perhaps this is so because there are not enough of that level of physician available.

Without medical insurance I walk into any of the ubiquitous clinics in Mexico where there typically is no waiting, no appointments, just walk-up examinations and consultations, and these cost around $3 US dollars. I get to spend direct time with the physician and get the feedback from this doctor that they actually care about my well-being. If I need something more than that I am sent to a specialist or a lab for tests, but generally am given a presciption, typically for a generic medicine, and pay no more than $10 to cure my ailment.

The US healtcare system needs a major overhaul but I have serious doubts that Obamacare is the answer.

It is not constitutional for the federal government to force an individual to buy a product. Judge is wrong.
