International political group Hizb ut-Tahrir (logo at left) will be hosting a “Khilafah Conference” in the United Kingdom on July 9th, one that will promote the ideas of a world governed by Islamic law. Now the group just announced that it will host yet another one of those conferences in the Netherlands on July 3rd. The Blaze notes the irony of the conference’s timing, as it will be taking place just days after the acquittal of Geert Wilders, who has been leading the fight against “the Islamizof Europe.”
According to Tahrir Organizers, the event will answer all questions regarding Islamic unity and the establishment of a world caliphate.

Also please note below.

The organizers released a video advertisement in anticipation of the event. The Blaze explains:

The video depicts dramatic footage of imams and hordes of worshipers chanting about the “prophetic method” — apparently the method by which the caliphate will come to fruition. Included in their cries is the rather unsettling line: “Then there will be a Khilafah on the prophetic method and it will be for as long as Allah wills…”

Khalifah is Islamic Caliphate. So what they are saying is that if Allah wills then there shall be an Islamic Caliphate established over the ashes of the Arab Spring which will unite Muslims worldwide. They fail to mention anything about the Muslims who may disapprove of such actions but instead frame it in a way that makes the entire argument from the Koran.

The trailer for the conference asserts:

In 1953 a group arose to re-establish the Khilafah — 6 decades of challenging tyranny, 6 decades of resisting oppression, 6 decades of exposing colonialism. An Islamic call spanning the globe, east to west, 44 countries…Hizb ut-Tahrir Britain presents an international conference, our vision for change.”

6 decades of challenging tyranny, 6 decades of resisting oppression, 6 deaces of exposing colonialism. Maybe on this part I am just being a bit paranoid, that is a good chance, but it looked odd nonetheless.

One promotional poster for the 2011 International Khilafah Conference reads:

“The uprisings we have witnessed are of historic proportion, yet analysing their reality poses many key questions. Are these uprisings the fruit of deeper causes at work in the Muslim World, or are they the spontaneous results of short-term causes? Where is the place of these uprisings in the Islamic revival, and work for Khilafah? Join us in the important conference which will place the uprisings in their broader historical, ideological and political context in discussing these key questions.”

This is not just another ordinary conference something big is happening and we must watch closely. Those who were once radicals confined to the extreme fringes of Islamic society now have found their way into the mainstream and are attempting to change their world if not ours as well.

This was the Islamic Caliphate at its maximum.

If it were not for King Jan III Sobieski of Poland leading the united forces under the Holy League made up of Polish-Lithuania, Austria, and Germany at the Battle of Vienna in 1863 the Ottomans could have taken Europe that was how important the battle was. It also signified the retreat of the Muslim invaders out of Europe and the final consolidation of Christendom on the continent.

Do not let yourself think that the radicals have forgotten this. Europe was right there in their hands for the taking, take Vienna and the rest of Europe would eventually fall. King Jon III Sobieski was praised for his victory in saving Europe and became known as the savior of European Christendom. The Muslims almost had Europe and they have not and will not forget this.

I know this has coming I have seen it in my dreams and it is ugly, but as the Bible says the prophecy will be fulfilled. I see it as a way for these hateful people to eliminate themselves.

And?

People can talk about whatever damned goofball ideas they want. They want a Caliphate? Good for them. I want a pony. Guess who's more likely to get what they want?

You wouldn't get a pony under sharia law so a caliphate would be more likely.

Do you even know what the hell "Sharia law" is?

Know what all the previous Caliphates have in common? Failure. The Turks only held on as long as they did because they had the advantage of guns for a few hundred years; give the Arabs guns and suddenly the Turks are hauling ass. The most recent attempt at a restoration, the unification of Egypt and Syria in the 60's, failed because Syria was afraid Egypt was too powerful. Transplant that argument to any other state in the region. Why don't Iraq and Jordan unify? 'Cause either Iraq or Jordan will be dominant over the other. Why don't Turkey, Syria, and Iran hook up? 'Cause one of the three would have to become the "bitch" to the other two.

Half of the Arab states refuse to speak to the other half. Turkey is humping Europe's leg like a cocker spaniel on viagra. The Maghreb states don't really do much of anything except host European tourists and occasionally stage coups. And everyone hates Iran.

A Caliphate has zero chance of appearing even in the region of the world where such a thing has a historical foundation and religious validation, and you goobers think it's an imminent threat to the US and Western Europe? Good lord are you clueless.

Geez. Where do they get the idea they can foist a global standard on the world? Do they have such a powerful nation they can expect to dictate economic and living standards to everyone else to knuckle under to?

This is not a "one size fits all" world. Where would they come up with such a ridiculous notion?

And this is just one of the reasons I give the NWO theory little thought. There are too many competing organizations. This is just one.

But I do lend credence to the Muslim radical fundamentalists. They have made their intentions known and they’re up front about it.

It would be unwise to ignore them.

+1 for common sense!

The sort of publicity these fringe movements get is silly, if there is ever a caliphate, it will be like every other caliphate in history, torn apart by internal politics.

I mean no disrespect to those who submit to the house of Islam, but the practice of establishing a Caliphate seems essentially another method to install a monarchy.

The notion of a supreme governance endorsed by God is common among royalty, and frankly, that is what the Caliphate would be, another flavor of royalty to establish as preeminent those who are selected for elite status.

And for those who think the distinction is in the Koran's reputed support for such a doctrine, consider that most every King and Queen of the world is said (mostly by them) to be "God's will;" even Elizabeth II, as the Monarch of the United Kingdom, is the "Supreme Governor" of the Church of England and sworn protector of the Church of Scotland.

Unfortunately for me, I stand ideologically opposed to the idea of a 'personal rulership" justified by supposed "nobility" or otherwise. Thomas Paine spoke of the matter most clearly, and while his comments were dated it remains valid to me to state that no 'lineage' be it noble or 'spiritual' rates automatic and compulsory adherence to "their" concept of what is and isn't good governance.

Perhaps I am wrong to say so. Time will tell.
