Well, I am not certain the following I am about to say ties in with this thread but I recieved a call from my best friend a couple days ago from whom I haven't heard in a couple of months, he lives in Port St. Lucie Florida, and he is a licensed electrician. He says the outside looks almost normal but when you go inside it goes deep underground and it looks almost like a military installation. There are always guards that don't allow anyone at all inside unless you are a worker. There are bullet proof windows installed, and the walls are made of concrete and are thicker than normal walls, and according to him it is huge. They were adding a hospital wing to this place, and some other buildings, but no one knows exactly what it is, or why it is being built. He has asked the guards about the building/s but if they know they are not saying anything about it.

I wasn't fully sold on the FEMA installations until I spoke with my friend. I have known him since Junior High, I have known him for 21 years and I know he wouldn't lie, or exagerate about this. For all I know this has nothing to do with FEMA installations, but whatever this place is, it is apparently being build for some kind of disaster scenario.

Not to discredit your friend, but Florida is one of the last places you would want to dig deep underground. Bad sandy swampy soil, aquifers, and a high water table make it a very complicated and nearly impossible mission. Florida is known for its massive sink holes for this very reason.

Its possible if the project is as massive as your friend says. Possible but blows my logical mind.

Absolutely not. The other poster did not even know where the prison was and he or she is supposed to be from the area. The prison was shut down when they shut the rest of the base down. There is only a small portion of the base left and it's mostly admin. The prison is beyond the base past the golf course. It has been closed since mid 90's yet there are armed military personnel there now. It is listed as a REX 84 camp:

As far as pictures go, I will be headed back to town in a bit and try and get pics again. I do not live in town, I'm about 6 miles outside of town and the copters rarely fly over us but you always see them over town for the past several days now. Father in law said last night again that the black SUVs converged at the jail again. I will check that out as well.

I'm also in the Millington,TN area. My dad works at the Naval base at BUPERS. I will see what he knows. He has some level of security clearance, not exactly sure what level though, but if something is going on there he would know about it.

I'm in Nashville and read about the drills upcoming a few weeks ago. They are expecting a earthquake or planning depending on how you think within the next year or so. When that fault line goes Memphis will be destroyed as well as many surrounding areas. Stay clear if possible and goodluck we will need it.

here in north georgia last week 20 or 25 trucks, a mixed bag of what looked like small command and control units and WMD sniffer vehicles were all parked inside the national guard armory grounds for about 3 days. thought it was kind of wierd because there were so many of the same vehicles and usually we only see dump trucks in the armory. around the same time seen a flight of 2 black chinooks with a apache escort flying low over our town headed north.

All federal agencies were supposed to participate in two emergency preparedness exercises recently. "NLE 2011" that took place in May was supposed to revolve around an "earthquake scenario" around the New Madrid Fault Line. "Eagle Horizon 2011" that started June 23rd was supposed to revolve around a "nuclear scenario" around the midwest.

I live in Salt Lake City, on the west side of the valley.

The past year or so we have been noticing more and more recon by apache helicopters in the valley.

We have Hill AFB just north of us and we are use to military equipment in the area but these just were a strange occurance because they were scouting. My buddy lives on the east side of the valley and stated in all his 40 years he has never seen these actions before.

The copters fly low and slow, along the north/south freeways, especially during rush hour. You expect the occassional news copter, but apaches watching over strikes me as odd. It was frequent and regular for quite a few months. It seems to have slowed down some, but I am just curious as to why the military needs to be scouting our freeways now in 2011, when most of these routes have been around for awhile.

Seem to be all headed south.......

Makes you wonder, even if it is earthquake drills, why all the sudden all the worry with doing drills, and if drills are more common then we think...........why the huge uptick in the number of personnel for the drill?

I live in Nashville, surrounded by woods and I have seen, photographed & video taped military doing odd things over recent years. Not sure what to make of any of it. From swarms of choppers flying around hills at night.

Military choppers flying in circles in triangle formation. To one chopping flying so low I could see a guy inside & the gatling gun on it. The most recent one there were jet's flying around very low in circles for several minutes.

These weren't normal looking fighter jet's. They were bigger. They were so low I could hear the engine so loud and feel its roar. It was like a constant ocean wave. I stood there video taping them. After a bit they just flew off.

I live next to an small airport which houses at least 10 Apache's it is not odd to see them fly over all of the time low and slow but I can see how any new sitings would cause concern..from time to time I have been told that a part of their training they will track and lock onto the vehicles on the freeway, not sure if they are weapons heavy tho but still I give on that!

The reason I don't know where the prison is is because, to start, there isn't exactly a sign identifying the building so I can only observe what I could see from the street and second, I've only been a resident here for 3 years, and since my commute is into Memphis, not Millington, I have no reason to pass this area on a dialy basis. I believe what you saw though and will continue to check this out.

Have you checked with your local and state authorities as to why they approved the use of their citizens for war games? Other states have told them politely NO. Your PTB obviously are in accord with Big Bro.

#2 You can try to make this personal by saying its MY authorities allowing its citizens for war games.....

That proves YOUR ignorance........the military isnt specific to a state.......its not militia.......so any orders that come down for them to operate here come from a larger government body.........the SAME body that could order them to come to YOUR state and operate there, and your "local authorities" wouldnt have a choice but to comply.

They are probably just as ignorant of the reasons as the civies.......

take the attitude elsewhere.........and learn more about military structure before you start accusing people here of letting anyone do anything......

LAst Week in Knoxville(east side of TN) saw 3 caravans of military vehicles on the interstate heading west. Nothing unusual about that, except when I saw them they were merging onto the same section of interstate(640W) from both 75S, 275N and 640 as well. Three separate convoys merged at the same time. Just struck me as kinda odd.

I believe these national level emergency drills that require the participation of ALL federal agencies just started in 2009. Makes you wonder why they didn't start sooner. Maybe they didn't feel the need to start until after the FEMA fiasco in New Orleans.
