THE family of an Australian man awaiting trial in Israel on charges of being a Hamas spy believes he could be the victim of a conspiracy.

Computer scientist Eyad Rashid Abu Arja, 47, was arrested in March and charged with a long list of offences accusing him of belonging to an illegal organisation.

I don't know if the allegations are true or not since to me, that man has as much credibility as the state. I know, I shouldn't give the Israeli government so much credit but hey, I have to at least TRY to stay neutral, eh?
