you got me, i do. I got my tax returns stollen out of my car when it was broken into three years ago. they have EVERYTHING! so i got life lock. been good to me.

If you live in the U.S. and are 17 years or older there is really no excuse not to know your social. I always balk the few times an adult has told me they cannot remember their number.

I have had it memorized all my life....why do you ask?

When I was 17 I didn't even have one. I only got one then to join the navy. If I could only go back and slap myself. I would not have gotten it.

It's semantics really, the yanks have social security numbers we have National Insurance numbers that perform pretty much the same role.

Mine is ** ** ** ** * My mothers maiden name is ******* and my date of birth is **/**/**

Mine has nine digits, and the middle three digits are 666.

Of course. When I was young my parents made me memorize it. I'm glad they did. Everyone should. We're all just a number right?
