This is a fantastic post. Looking foward to your reply OP.

I would hope there are those in your collective that are using their skills to do something other than deface web sites.

Welcome. You are among one of many insiders lately.
The Illuminati contacted one guy, a scientist just joined.. oh and the media guy.
If you have any questions about music an touring, let me know, I am an insider.
And I'm an insider to the deli I work at part-time.

There are those who would argue that without national security there would be no freedom. Anon is seen as a threat to national security. How do you answer to that ?

i dont really get 'anon'.
using the internet to fight the opressors? so your only weapon is the internet? ive read lots of speculation about a 'kill switch' or similar things.
if the hactivists where to become any kind of threat, 'tptb' would just take away your toys, so to speak.

which makes me think these recent high profile hacker groups are more like false flag groups.
youre just providing more excuses for more restrictions.

That kill switch if switched on wouldn't stay on for long. If that happened every hackers hat would be switched to black and there's no way to really cutoff the Internet without loosing all forms of communication. At least not that I know of

i agree, i dont think there could be a realistic killswitch. but these hacker groups are getting an awefull lot of attention lately. but despite theyre claims, they arent really doing much, except opening the door for much stricter internet regulations.

That pic would make for a very cool deck of cards.
I'd get them for my mother inlaw.

It goes both ways they are getting attention here but honestly anthony's wiener got way more mainstream media time. And hacktivist aren't going to get stricter laws on the Internet.. That would only provoke more hackers.

ha ha ha there was a face where my bracket ended...
Forgiveness is holy. Enough of this trash talk. I haven't seen one philosophically rigid argument from you shanks.
Lots of ambiguity & possible contradiction. I am both scared & hopeful about anonymous... who they are I don't even think many know who they are.

I strongly agree with your comment,
That user is most likely a psy-op just for those reasons. Trying to obtain more IP addresses, trying to get hooked up with fellow minds to find more of Anon and others.

Anyone can be anonymous.

No one can claim ownership over it. Any collective can be "Anonymous" hijack it, and exploit it.

Anyone can join ATS and claim to be an "insider" ... And simply have another covert agenda, collecting names and info, phishing comes to mind.

Pleased to meet you, welcome to ATS.

I am AnonFF

I am like minded. I will claim anonymity in that sense
if they want my IP or to come arrest me, I say HOP TO IT

you better believe if I had the abilities I'd make use of them.
I'm just too lazy to learn the coding

Hi Moderator
I have posted a post as a reply here
www.abovetopsecret.com...
because I cannot yet start a thread not having 25 posts.
Very early Sunday morning (in UK) I need to post a piece on behalf of Colin Andrews plus a photo which coincides with his lecture at the Phoenix UFO conference.
How do you propose I do it and where?
Thanks
