NEVER

Tomorrow... as in yesterday past
Never comes nor will ever last.
Like hopes and dreams the bubble bursts
You always have this unquenching thirst.
All is fantasy and total denial
The feces decays in one great pile.
The wind then will scatter it about
Into nothingness.. without a doubt
Not yesterday ..nor tomorrow - that will never be
For these are the events that happen to me.
TODAY as in EVERYDAY -repeating again and again-
You lose yourself --- to never win.

Using this as a venting avenue haha.. jk... wrote that a long time ago, Am sure one can relate.

Your poem is very dark, but moving. I can feel your sadness, and can relate to this emotion. I like it. Thank you for sharing this!

Glad you liked the poem.

and I realize how dark it was...I was sad at the time...I'm no writer really but started writing my feelings in poetry when very young...I have a book of them from childhood and over the years have written as adult. It's a good outlet to VENT! I also have some uplifting ones too about the Lord. Not sure why I posted these dark poems lately... must be the MC ...
