There is another reactor upwind from tokyo that is having a lot of trouble...a 3 ton something fell into where it should not be. they want to get it out, but it could be tricky.

Also, more info in the video about the NRC having allowable daily releases from all nuclear plants !!!!!!!!!

And how they ease restrictions on older plants to keep them open.

future generations (if there are any) will laugh or cry very hard at our follies.

Yeah, it had been out for a day or two by the time this thread started.

Vitchilo posted it here and there is some good background in the rest of the thread too even considering the rocky start the thread got off to in the beginning.

By the way, if anyone can help with some Japanese translations, we can find out a bit more with what is contained in this post.
