At the Egalia preschool, staff avoid using words like "him" or "her" and address the 33 kids as "friends" rather than girls and boys.

From the colour and placement of toys to the choice of books, every detail has been carefully planned to make sure the children don't fall into gender stereotypes.

"Society expects girls to be girlie, nice and pretty and boys to be manly, rough and outgoing," says Jenny Johnsson, a 31-year-old teacher. "Egalia gives them a fantastic opportunity to be whoever they want to be."

The taxpayer-funded preschool which opened last year in the liberal Sodermalm district of Stockholm for kids aged one to six is among the most radical examples of Sweden's efforts to engineer equality between the sexes from childhood onward.

Destroying distinct gender differences between boys and girls is not only mind control, it is conditioning the next generation of people to reject the traditional gender roles and blend both genders, male and female, into a 'gender-neutral' position of control.

That is not only happening in the liberal utopia of the Kingdom of Sweden, it is also happening in the industrialized Western countries.

Try attempting this in an ultraconservative Islamic society (e.g. Saudi Arabia, Iran) or wherever, and you'd meet the blade of a sword, or the bullet of an AK.

Traditional gender roles are lame.

This should be an interesting experiment to follow.

Don't know what your talking about with the mind-control thing though, sounds a little silly.

Edit: Don't you realize we are always being conditioned to our surroundings? Why can't I say traditional gender roles are mind-control? What makes this type of conditioning worse than yours?

Fyi, many languages have this already. We do. We don't have problems with gender roles here. It's not leading to the destruction of genders.

But we are different, boys and girls. We have different physical characteristics and different mental ones. One is not better then the other, just different.
How exactly not mentioning genders will help if the kids KNOW that they are different because some have one thing and others have the other? This is beyond absurd.
This experiments will scar those kids, no doubt.
