Libyan leader Gaddafi vows to 'stay out of Africa Union peace talks'

Libya's leader, Muammar Gaddafi, has agreed to stay out of negotiations to end the four-month old conflict in his country, African Union (AU) leaders said.

AU leaders announced the agreement in a statement on Sunday following talks in the South African capital, Pretoria, aimed at ending hostilities between pro-Gaddafi forces and opposition fighters seeking an end to his rule in battle-ravaged Libya.

Heads of states from the Republic of Congo, Mali, Mauritania and Uganda attended the talks......

If Gadahfi doesn't comply with the peace talks then this whole Libyan war fiasco result more casualties. This war is so BS to begin with. First the UN mandate stated to protect, now all the sudden many NATO officials said that their mission is to kill them. We also have a French president that hate us for not contributing enough despite the fact we provided them a lot of refueling, intel, and bombs, etc and so on.

Now what now?

Why should he agree to any peace, NATO has tried to assassinate him on multiple occasions, the majority of people are on his side, and he's winning the ground war.

agreed the rebels are indeed IMF rebels notice how fast they installed a Rothschild bank? the rebels are nothing more then hardcore Islamic hardliners terrorists pushing to create an Islamic state of libya.


I Find it funny that those rebels are waving the flag of a colony libya it seems that the terrorists want bring the libyan people back to the colony days.

I've heard from multiple sources, that the "slaughter" and "genocide" never did happen. The point was to have Ghadafi back down from his effort to unite Africa under one currency. Not to mention he got hella oil.

Nato knows it's in the wrong for targeting a sitting head of state. Sadly, we're not even out in the streets about this war..

Hypothetically They Assassinate Gaddafi, then what? the hold 'Elections'? they give the 'Rebels' Control?
