Muslim Brotherhood Figure and Former Spokesman in the West: Establish a Global Islamic State

www.memri.org

"The Muslim Brotherhood is organized in 80 countries, and they and the Islamists have a right to establish a global movement, much like global socialism or Zionism..."

"Why Shouldn't We Have A Country Called 'The United States Of Islam'... I Propose That the Arab Peoples... Take To the Streets With the Slogan 'The Arab People Wants To Remove the Borders [Between Its Countries]'

"Q: Regarding the global organization – will a Muslim Brotherhood member associate himself with the [global] movement or with his homeland? And what will happen should there be a contradiction between t

This is what has been predicted all along, the Muslim Brotherhood is gaining tons of momentum in Egypt and other countries, and now they're going to use the anger of the people and direct it at Israel, Europe, and us.

I hope you all realize the severity of this situation, but judging by the front page you don't. There's not a single thread on the front page about what's really going on in the Middle East, or about all the big global players cashing out of everything American.

Never happen, they like fighting each other too much. On the plus side, I figure they'll kill a whole bunch of each other trying to figure out who gets to run things, before it all blows up and they go back to fighting amongst themselves.

No that would be bad. I don't want any more religion and things to do with it.
It was once like that until turkey abolished it, turkey started and abolished a
regime called Halifelik where all middle eastern countrys where together much
like a brother hood.

Sounds pretty extreme huh? An entire "Islamic State"?

I bet they would ask for complete sovereignty and to rule themselves in a way in which no other nation on Earth could have any say in what happens in their individual, private nation from where they could impliment religious directives to across the vast network of Mosques........

Oh, let's say, like the Vatican? Should we fear the Catholics as well? If they can do it, why can't the nation of Islam?

I say we protest, demonize and whine about the Catholics in the same way we do the Muslims! In the interest of being non-hypocritical.

Not as much as they'd like killing us.

The Muslim Brotherhood is a radical group, so...

I can't really decide if the globalists are just using them, or if the leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood are as Muslim as Bush was Christian.

Caliphate, the political-religious state comprising the Muslim community and the lands and peoples under its dominion in the centuries following the death (ad 632) of the Prophet Muḥammad. Ruled by a caliph (Arabic khalīfah, “successor”), who held temporal and sometimes a degree of spiritual authority, the empire of the Caliphate grew rapidly through conquest during its first two centuries to include most of Southwest Asia, North Africa, and Spain. Dynastic struggles later brought about the Caliphate’s decline, and it ceased to exist with the Mongol destruction of Baghdad in 1258.

www.britannica.com...

This is what they want. A new Caliphate.

2 cents.

Nothing wrong with this at all.I think a Caliphate would be the best thing that happened to modern Islam. There would probably less fighting and strife in the MENA.

It would be hard to control the whole world without killing most non-Muslims who resist. I think the way things are going it will more likely end up like this: Certain areas become more Radically Islamic while others become less, and there will probably be a shift in populations. For example, places like Bangladesh are becoming more Islamic, so the minorities and moderates will leave the country as refugees. The same thing with North Sudan and other areas of the world. At the same time, places like Turkey might become less Radically Islamic, trying to build bridges with "The West." The same thing with Jordan and other areas. I predict Nigeria will split into 2 countries the same way Sudan is. The biggest problem-areas would be where the large number of minorities and moderates are dispersed throughout the population, such as Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Indonesia, etc.. The Muslim Brotherhood would be caught between a rock and a hard place in the future. They'd need to either become more moderate and take criticism from the Radicals, OR, become Radical themselves and take criticism from "The West." I don't think they know where they stand yet, but they'll need to stand somewhere eventually.

History has shown us that they would not be happy just in their area of the world. If they stayed, not a problem.

From what I have read it sounds to me much like the Communists during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. They believe in several things:

1. A movement designed as resistance to Imperialism
2. Support for the unification of people without adherence to their current national identity, i.e. "workers of the world unite" becomes "Muslims of the world unite".
3. The Muslim Brotherhood began in 1928, the first Marxist international 'League of the Just' was founded in 1834. The Socialist Revolution of Russia began in 1917 just as the 'Arab Spring' began in 2011, both 83 years from the founding of their first organizational structure.

All this really means is that the new opposing force for the Western world could be the rise of political Islam to international prominance. Perhaps without strong Western intervention the Arab Muslims could unite. Just think about how similar everything seems.

Because whenever anything's going on in the world ATS is always on it, but like I said there isn't one thread on the front page about what's happening right now. I've seen tons of threads on imporatant topics that would usually get tons of stars and flags but they only get 3-5 and they get buried deep in the dephs of ATS archives never to be seen again.

That's not ATS censoring. Idol was probaby on, Nirubu (no offense folks) is on its way, or an abduction took place (again, no offense).
Just the nature of the beast.

In the 3 years I've been on ATS I've never seen so much spam, and I'm not the first person to notice.

Yeah but religion throws out any chance of that happening. Seems like Muslims and Judeo-Christians were born to fight each other over land.
