A gas plant and two hotels in Istanbul, Turkey were hit with simultaneous explostions. An anonymous bomb threat on a gas plant came right before the
explosion. At around 2am 2 explosions rocked two separate inexpensive hotels.

ISTANBUL, Turkey (AP) - Explosions rocked two small tourist hotels and a gas plant in Istanbul early Tuesday in apparent terrorist attacks, killing
at least one person and injuring seven others, police said.
The blasts came amid heightened security concerns in Turkey, the focus of earlier terror attacks including four suicide truck bombings in November
blamed on al-Qaida that killed more than 60 people in Istanbul.

Police Chief Celalettin Cerrah says that the blasts appear to have been terrorist attacks on Turkey who has been on heightened alert for attacks.
The anonymous bomb threat was called in merely ten minutes before the blast occured.
