A small tax-exempt political group with ties to wealthy liberals like billionaire financier George Soros has quietly helped elect 11 reform-minded progressive Democrats as secretaries of state to oversee the election process in battleground states and keep Republican “political operatives from deciding who can vote and how those votes are counted.”

Isn't this nice ladies and gentleman?

Secretary Of State Project: This is just about all I could dig up on this.

Formed in the fall of 2006 by a group of progressive California activists, the Secretary of State Project is an American non-profit, progressive or liberal 527 political action committee focused on electing reform-minded progressive Secretaries of State in battleground states, who typically oversee the election process. They hope to prevent a repeat of Florida 2000, where a Republican Secretary of State, Katherine Harris, appeared to take a partisan role in helping to determine the 2000 presidential election results.

A notable achievement of the Secretary of State Project was the election of Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie in 2006. Mark Ritchie played a pivotal role in Al Franken winning a Senate seat from Norm Coleman in 2008, by examining the disputed absentee ballots during the Minnesota Senate recount.

George Soros gives $75K to House super PAC Source

In addition to Soros’s $75,000 contribution, hedge fund billionaire Donald Sussman – a major donor who this month married Rep. Chellie Pingree (D-Maine) – gave $150,000 and Chicago media magnate Fred Eychaner, a major donor to President Barack Obama, gave $100,000. In all, House Majority PAC – a so-called super PAC that can raise unlimited money from individuals, corporations and unions – this week reported raising $800,000 in the two months leading up to the election, which was won by Democrat Kathy Hochul.

Since a lot of people come to ATS with predictions, visions, etc, Does anyone see this man dying in a timely fashion?

Why are we suppose to be outraged over this? I think it's safe to assume wealthy individuals give large sums of money to conservative PACs.

the deal is soros donates millions to the progressive left wing agenda

he has his media now hes going after "the fix" as in election fixes

soros is an evil man whose only goal is to destroy america to bring in his vision of the social utopia

either way the is country loses and soros still gets rich off everyone else.

people do not turn a blind eye to people who buy elections cause thats what hes doing

Well, I happen to believe that Soros is the NWO's....Steward, in America. so yes I do want him to die.

Soros is someone who would usher in the 12th Imam if it served his agenda, he's part of the problem not the solution. if your somebody who has a problem with Obama, then in turn you should have a problem with Soros, the puppet master.

And I was pointing out the Left hypocrisy in campaign contributions. A "super-PAC" with unlimited funds, but the left gets mad when the supreme court rules in favor of corporations giving what ever amount of money they want to the GOP

And at this point, the Koch brothers wanting to destroy SS doesn't matter.. the Left destroyed it long ago when they thought of it as a fund for their pet projects. So perhaps maybe this incarnation of SS does need to be destroyed, by reform.

Let me postulate a guess: You also believe the earth is only a few thousand years old, right? You call yourself a "Christian" and "patriotic real American, right? You think doctors who perform abortions are Satanists or at least doing the work of Satan, right? Gay people frighten you, right? You want that socialist Obama to keep his hands off your Medicare, right? You respect Sarah Palin and think her a model American and presidential material, right?

I dare you to truthfully answer each question, unless you are ashamed and embarrased by your beliefs.

Bernie Sandes is a self professed socialist. His vision of America resembles the old Soviet Union more than it does the country envisioned by the Founding Fathers.

Just another shining example that every time the Left/Dems do this, it is for the good of everyone, contrived by Saints in Politics that are from the Govt and here to help.
When the Right/Rep do it, it is to drive everyone to buy more, work more and so on.

What a crock.

It is an injustice when done on either side.
