Computers use the stock market to make more money than any of us could dream of. If that is their perrogative, they will become rich much more quick
and in more vast quantities than we can imagine.
The only leap that would need to be made would be that a meddling human would have to install the will to "get" a certain thing while limiting the
ability to get it through money, and the more the thing is gotten, the more reward. If money was the path to the thing, you can garuntee that it would
be very greedy, to us. It would have no concept of greed, only accomplishing a goal.
If money is the path to creating a better version of itself, it would make more money than you could dream.
