The wealthy aren’t leaving because they have gotten all they want, in stupid trade agreements that allow them to move to Mexico and China and pay the workers 1 dollar an hour and lay off Americans.

The tax rate now is lowest it has been in years, so the premise of this OP is nonsense.

Where the wealthy on strike against Bush when the bottom dropped out of the economy, and Bush did the bailout in 2008, and we were loosing 100,000 jobs a month? Bush cut taxes for the precious rich, and what did they do but destroy the economy.

Why don’t you folks think before you post stuff that makes little sense?

You Ayn Rand lovers are aware that she took social security money and benefits from medicare, right?

It's like some people are completely clueless as to what has been going on in the world for the past few decades. So many people in high positions of power have been huge fans of Rand and big promoters of her philosophy, ie Alan Greenspan. Wake up and smell the damn coffee people! Rand's style of capitalism has been in place for a while now and it has failed humanity. The capitalists in positions of great power are not ethical. They don't follow their own rules and the rest of us have suffered tremendously.

What really bugs me is when people claim to support Rand's philosophy and also claim to be christian. Paul Ryan is a good example of this type of hypocrisy. Jesus stood against everything Rand advocated.

Full disclosure: I am not a christian and I have read Atlas Shrugged. It pushed me further to the left because of how absurd and unrealistic its characters are. I enjoyed the storyline but am glad that I was wise enough to see that the philosophy it espoused is pure bunk.

You're totally right, there is absolutely NOTHING socialist in Obama's politics. It's so annoying to hear such things.

When was the last time you ever got hired by a poor person?????? The number one reason for companies to move is NOT labor costs.. Its taxes. Here in my state you must pay the state $1.49 in Taxes for every dollar you pay your workers. Why in hell would you hire more people when it costs more in taxes than you pay your employees. It's not the Feds that drive employers to move either out of the country or to 'Right to Work States' It's the damned state governments that use tax rates for small and large businesses to fund their 'Sanctuary Cities' or Welfare accounts for those that are 3rd and 4rth generation non-working clients! Unions that demand more than cities and small business can afford in wages and benefits. Very few large Corporations make more than a 7-12% return on investment and that isn't what you could consider overly huge profits!

Workmans comp is not a tax.
So your qoute on tax is high.
Here in Florida for a construction business I was paying 34 cents on the dollar for employees and that included taxes and workmans comp.

Well .. is he right?

No. He's selective with his belief that this is happening. Ignoring the Obama tax cuts and the greed of the multinational corporations.

Obama's not a socialist and I can't think of one policy that is remotely socialist. Perhaps the Ledbetter act. Beyond that, no.

I'm not talking about Florida or just Workmens Comp. I'm talking about the state with the second highest tax rate in the union on business. Connecticut! I didn't exaggerate one bit. That is the going rate here plus unemployment payments, and various other sundry taxes on business to employ one person. In most of the northeast and many of the rust belt states taxes as a whole are the number one reason besides Unions that business moves or out source to the Pacific rim.

Connecticut's tax rate is 7.5% for business'. There are at least 15 states with a higher corporate tax rate.

Your assertion does not match reality. Example: Nevada has no corporate tax but has the highest unemployment in the nation.

Taxes don't kill business and jobs, competitive greed does.
