You really need to go and read some evolutionary psych books. In an evolutionary sense, tall men are more regarded as alpha males, are more likely to see off other males and protect the woman and child. Besides I'm pretty tall for a woman and short men do nothing for me. Does it make me shallow? I think not. As for higher status males, not all women want an alpha male.

So you are seriously saying that it is wrong that women have developed an attraction to desirable male traits. Do Men not look for women with certain traits, like attractiveness, youth, health, a good nature, kindness in a potential mate? Women look for those too, hardly shallow is it.
