Clinton says Syrian troops massing near Turkish border threatens border clashes

Ok for those interested in numbers (and im guessing Syria are playing poke the bear and run like f***)Turkey has the second largest army in NATO 2.Also one of the largest air forces in NATO.3.2 special operations forces the sas and sat several commando detachments .Johnny Turk are a very formidable foe tough as # in ww1,and WHY the Syrians are even contemplating provocating them is madness or as has been suggested they are banking on Russia

NATO tried to play Turkey into invading Libya, to which Turkey declared that it would not wage war on the Libyan people.

I doubt Turkey would fall for a Syrian offensive, pulled by the strings of the NATO warmacht. Turkey is not stupid; they put culture ahead of profit.

I'm going to Syria tomorrow by bus. I'm on the border in Turkey. No mass of troops here. Anyway the turks can sort out the Syrians if they have to. Turkey has a well equipped armed force and a large one (>1000000) Dream on.... about WWIII.
