having a pretty difficult issue with my neighbors..need advice

lol no trailer dwellers here i think they just bought the house like 6 months ago but it looks like a nice house from what little i can see of it but i dont think ill be going any where near it i figured i was safe in mt shooting thats half the reason i came here was because its legal ehre and it wasent where i came from ( the socialist republic of california)so im just hoping the comuntiy bbq its everything figured out thank you for your response

thanks for the advice on the wall im nto to construction savvy but ill see if i can figure it out,hes on the corner of my land thats close to him and closest to my shooting area i might just move it to the other side of the yard as no one lives on that other half and that might help things and the hillside is even bigger over there i just set it up where it is because usualy the other area is full of deer and as i dont wanna acutaly shoot the deer(out of season that is) i had kinda let them have that area guess they might need to find new beds

i appreciate your reply and your candor thats half the reason im not out in the yard shooting every day or mroe then a few rounds if i do shoot and i do see there point they moved here just like i did (problay) to get away from noise and sound but as its not only me doing the shooting they might wanan come up with a situation to fix this on there end as i dont think most of my neighbors would be as tolerant of there wishes or attempt to be as polite as i have in this situation,as to the hiking they cant legaly get on my land to hike with out either going into my land or that of the foresty serivce wich is about 4000 yards from my property line (on top of the hill) so that at least shouldnt be an issue here

that might be soemthign to do as well but the police have heard shots while they ahve been here and what sounded like one honest to god cannon blast that shoot the whole area so they are very well aware of the others shooting it dosent bug me that they do really as im just glad i know no ones gettign shot when i hear them compared to where i used to live

yeah i write the day time and conditions on a posit note i wrap around all my spent rifle shells and shot gun shells(useless with a 22 and a 22 is quiet)and if i fire i keep the weapon i used in the closet by the front door so if the cops wanan take alook at it they can they gave me quite the many complements on my 1917 remmington made mosin so far so that also boosted the ego

yeah im kinda tempted to do that but as another poster said even those that like guns enjoy a break from loud boomy things every now and then im more inclined to keep teh ones i got frendly with me staying freindly the guy who does my plumbing lives on the other side of the guy and he says he can hear when i shoot and after seeing my shooting area he said he didnt have a problem that neighbor just likes to complain so i know its also not just me having problems with the guy

that would be some real fun get to play with some of there cool toys and lol just seeing the guy roll up my driveway when cops were shooting with me would be priceless and soemthign very worth trying thanks for all the advice guys it realy helped

yeah im definaly gonna keep shooting but im gonan be trying to have witnesses or get somethign worked out with the cops to protect my self from this guy as im not willing to break the law or get drawn into a situation where i could get in trouble for he definatly moved to the wrong state if he didnt wanan hear gunshots and for all you montanans on here how many booms do u guys usualy hear on the 4th lol bet its alot more then most

i think ive been ehre longer then hm by atleast 6 months but im one of the newer members to the area and one of the few that stayed out here all winter so i think im accpeted by the bulk of them now this guy just seems like a control freak and if he dosent have control he will be freaking out

montana has the castle doctrine and i belive all i have to legaly say b4 opening fire on people on my land (due to signs and whatnot) is im feeling threatened and then its legal but idealy it will never come to that as id hate to have to shoot some one or near some one over some neighborhood spat i would hope he has his child smart enough to not go out harassing people who own guns on there own land

yeah im looking into cameras but i want them streaming to the web any ideas>? yeah i leared at an early age if you can get some one on camera or audio tape saying soemthing stupid its golden ie the cops from santa clara county that i have on audio tape saying they will do anything in there power to arrest me even if they have to plant it (laurie smith head sherrif was a friend of my fathers so we just went into her office and talked to the officer and he said i was a criminal and a hooligan so i pressed play and his voice saying he was gonna plant stuff on me came out of my tape recorder(half the reason i moved) but after that he didnt mess with me once because he knew i had him dead to rights and i would not be harassed so i know the value of taping things i just wish i didnt have to worry about it

that and that alone was the reason most of my neighbors in ca hated me i had a wrangler with 2 15 inch subs with 2k wats to each of them and they could hear me for miles so after the first time of that i had to mute them a mile away from my home so i dunno if actualy becoming a nusance in the sense of the law would be the best solution the cops i talked to today at the station made me feel a bit better and that this situation is gonan get fixed especialy if he keeps callng half the cops in town out for nothing time and time again

yeah the bbq at the bible camp this friday should be a good opening for that if it stops raining......and once i know most of my neigbors dont have a problem with me that will just mentaly help me over all if that makes any sense

lol yeah like i said earlyer i like canadians they got good syrup and the best bacon ive eaten in a while and from what ive seen of your country its nice and fun to visit but i to would not wanan live there to each there own!

tell the clowns next door to pound sand and if they ever come back they wont be leaving

as for the cops

you seem to have some decent ones in your area

id file a report about the people next door and file an order of protection since they did threaten you with their son

haha just say i keep smelling a funny oder of fertilizer and mention they have said bad things about the government maby if it was sitcom and i didnt disagree with most of homeland securtys policys id give it a shot but ive been harassed and persecuted b4 and i dont think any one should have to deal with that if it can be avoided thank you for your response

yeah for good or bad i havent had a "rager" since 2006 so i dobut its the ammount of people i have over he dosent like i think he just perceved me to be younger then i was and when he found out i wasent dealing with a land lord he got offended because he knew he couldnt do anything but call the cops im thinking control freak but thats just my opinion

you have no idea how hard and long i had to work to get to this stage of my life that i can be calm and level headed i used to be a bad citzen and do stupid things in my youth and luckily for me i learned b4 i got in any serious trouble and am just trying to be a better human every day then i was the last and thats my main motivation to improve my self

Personally, if I were in all accordance of the laws regarding said activities. The next time the neighbor comes crying, I would look at him right in the face and tell him he has two options. Piss off or move his ass back to Canada. That is just me though. Our society sucks ass. How dare another foreign national come here and dictate to us what we will and will not do on our own property. Take that crap back to where it came, and quit forcing their views and opinions upon our culture and lifestyle.

eh its ok its his opinion and its problay shaped that way due to negtive events in his life involving them that dosent make it right but it might explain it,when we get in to trouble and canda bails us out and saves there brother to the south it mgith change his mind,hell for all you know he had family killed in the war of 1812 was it?> the one where the marched on washington had a drunkenparty at the white house and then went home when it started to rain(not a totaly accurate assesment but it is funny) lol not to many nations can say they burned our capitol let alone invaded us sucessfully so hopefully he can learn to be tolerant of Canadians and really every one long term
