Seriously, hang those executives, RIGHT NOW. HANG THEM ALL.

F ukushima Nuclear Fuel Leaking Into Groundwater, Tepco Says Barrier Too Expensive, Will Hurt Stock Price

Japan is reporting that Fukushima nuclear fuel has burned through the containment vessel and is sitting on the concrete foundation of the plant leaking into the groundwater. TEPCO says an underground barrier needed to stop the molten lava from spreading in groundwater will cost too much money and will hurt their stock price.

Seriously those SOBs need to be arrested NOW, sent to jail FOR THEIR REMAINING PATHETIC LIVES and the company TAKEN OVER.

Right now.

If this is true, it's disgusting that they would gamble with the lives of those that live in Japan for the sake of their stock prices.. not only the lives of those in Japan but the lives of everyone in the world..

They should be forced to do this or be fined an equal or greater value than what the project would have cost to do it.. plus jail time.

I wonder what putting their Execs up against a wall and shooting them for crimes against humanity will do for their stock price.

We could find out!

Yet more evidence if it were needed that TPTB are more concerned about stocks and shares than they are about peoples lives. Capitalism is a total disgrace.

Just goes to show, if the TPTB knew about an up and coming catastrophic disaster, there is no way they would alert the people until the very last minute.

Money, something that doesn't actually exist, is more important than human life. THAT is what we humans have come to folks!

Sorry, but this sounds like a load of horse manure to me. Not even that moron Gunderson doesnt think the fuel rods have broken out of thier primary containment.

Where's the U,N. ? It's fine if we're invading some third world country, "protecting the innocent" from dictators, but what about when a private company is killing millions? Where the hell is the Japanese govt? Apparently, stock prices are more important than people. Of course, we already knew that didn't we?

Well if its too expensive maybe the executives should volunteer there time to do it, well after all it is there fault.
Why should innocent people go in there and risk there life send in the executives or clowns both are about the same!

OMG! They are being honest!

I never expected this. I thought they would act like a normal corporation, put on their suits, and tell us how the people and environment mean so much to them.

This is a good thing. They are allowing us to see the real them. Maybe corporations are evolving spiritually?

Seriously people, they don't want to fix it because it would mess up their plans.

They're actually saying "we could fix it, but we don't want to".

But don't worry too much. When it starts to get real bad and enough people have suffered, TPTB will present a package to save us.

Wow, that's really something, quite a talking point there Mike.

If the statement from the TEPCO exec. can actually be verified, there are grounds for charges of crimes against humanity.
Lets face it, when we look at the potential cost (Fukushima and/or worse) compared to the potential gain we receive from nuclear power, there is no justification for using this energy source. It's time to clean house folks, and politicians who disagree need to be swept out the door. It isn't too late to stop them from giving their own friends and family multi-billion taxpayer dollar contracts to build these deathtraps. If they really feel like they need to control the resources necessary for our society to function then it's time we all laid out some ground rules. Lets take to the streets if we have to.

Well, as far as I'm concerned, when a Corporation creates a nuclear disaster, that Corporation's assets should be split up, sold off, and ALL the proceeds go into fixing the nuclear disaster. And if they need more money, begin seizing all the personal assets of the Board members, CEO's, and other executives down to mid-level management to help pay for the clean up.

And only when that fails, should the taxpayers begin paying for it, and even so, only half. The other half should come out of the pockets of ALL government employees, up to half their salaries.

THAT IDEA WON'T WORK

It would just cave in before they can get the job done, AND MAKE AN EVEN MUCH BIGGER MESS !

They have just run out of options.

Its not a statement from anyone at TEPCO, its a statement from Hiroaki Koide ... the Japanese version of Arnie Gunderson. Thats some solid source you got there.

First of all, what reasons do you have for calling Gunderson a moron?

Secondly, you agree with this supposed moron's conclusion...what does that make you?

Third, it has recently come out that all three reactors were in meltdown since the beginning, and are now (according to what we've been told) in a state of melt through.

And if that is what they ARE telling us, you can guarantee it's even worse than that

Now if you all remember that the US of A Government B OB, had told Japan and TePcO that there are a lot of inverters in the US that have big money in Tepco so to not let the stock take a dive.

So now you have Tepco doing what the USA wants at the cost of peoples lives.

This is just the tip of the ice berg there is more mad money in this than you can shake a stick at.
There under a lot of pressure from around the world, that has a lot of money invested in Tepco, there are no where near of fixing this problem all in the name of money.

Got to love it just think we are all going to get sick some how all for money.
