How is that so bad? Well, that means a massive influx of people into an already insolvent and unorganized program. There are more and more Doctors
everyday around the country refusing to deal with medicare/medicaid patients because of the hassle involved, and by hassle I mean the bureaucratic
mess that comes with any and all federal entitlement programs.
More importantly, this takes personal freedom of choice away, because under this program you would see the doctor that you are told to see, and
because that doctor is sucking off of the federal teet, that doctor would be inclined or coerced to side with the federal government instead of the
individual patient.
If Medicaid is so great, then why do so many people complain about the health care system? Why are so many people "uninsured"? Why is an overhaul
of the health care system needed? Why are all progressive entitlement programs mandatory if they are so great? Shouldn't there be a line down the
street and around the corner at every medicare/medicaid office around the nation due to the greatness of the program? The truth of the matter is that
the aforementioned entitlement programs are not great... in fact they are pretty far from it. This issue isn't about health care at all, it is about
power and control over the most important aspect of any humans life, and that is a person's health.
Last but not least, how would this be paid for... I mean nothing is free. Well, I take that back... if you are a poor person that pays no taxes and
votes for Democrats then everything is free, because you get to vote for people that support costly policies that you don't have to pay for, thereby
making you a "zero liability voter". It isn't your money, so who cares, right?
I know, we'll just take the money from the rich, because after all, they stole it from you in the first place. It's time for people to take
personal responsibility for their lives, instead of relying on the federal government to redistribute (steal) someone else's hard earned money for
the sake of making it "fair" for lazy people. If someone skates through life, having never put forth any effort to succeed or excel then they can
suffer whatever consequences they get, and I won't shed a tear for them. If someone smokes 2 packs a day for 40 years and then all of a sudden needs
to be treated for lung cancer because of their own irresponsible actions, but they have no insurance then too bad... they should have thought about
that 25 years ago.
By the way, the title to your thread is a bit misleading. Once ObamaCare takes full effect and this plan is fully realized, there will be no more
middle class people, there will only be two classes... the proletariat and the beurgeoisie... and then all Marx loving socialists like Obama can rest
easy and celebrate a job well done.
