We can't stay in Afghanistan forever. The country is deep in debt and the people are fed up with politicians lying to them. Trying to convince the public to stay is completely insane, especially when the economy is so bad and unemployment is high. I think that people have grown tired of war and won't buy into another lie to get the U.S involved in another war.

Oddly enough, I have always felt that there would be another draft once the unemployment reached high enough numbers that the newly graduated had little else but to turn to crime as a career choice. It would seem however that the influx of college graduates since the Great Depression and number of jobs requiring college degrees has only served into the making of more corporate leaders, lawyers and politicians.

Most of whom are still turning to a life of crime mind you, just the kind of crime that they prefer...and people say that humans aren't very smart overall. Looks like we still adapt pretty well.
