This is just too cute. Never knew a cat could even do such a thing. I think it's funny how he's like oops busted, not a dog, and goes back to meowing.

Thank you for posting this, I laughed so hard. Some hate cats, some love em to death, but in the end you have admit they're just adorable and sinister at the same time.

cute!
Sounds familiar...I have a manx cat, who acts like a dog. Not all maxes act as such, she surely does! She has a very quite meow voice, but when she tries it comes out like a bark, also scratches at the bedroom door to be let in like a dog.

I rememberr the old joke about how do you make a dog sound like a cat. You stuck it in the freezer and then put it through a band saw meeeoooooooowwwwww. Or how do you make a cat sound like a dog. Cover in in petrol and light a match. Woofffffff!

Yes I know, but they were funny when we were kids.

This proves what I've always thought; cats are hypocrites!!!

How many dogs had to suffer because of this behavior? Previous poster is dead on; this shows a lot of personnality! Thanks!

that is so awesome. this just makes you think how intelligent plants and animals really are. this reminds me of tom and jerry where the cat is always trying to get the dog in trouble.

Yeah, the 3 or 4 transitional sounds when going from the bark(?) to the meow, would be hard to fake. I'll admit, I had my doubts at first, until about the 12th or 13th second.

My cat talks to the birds. As far as I can tell, no bird has any idea what he is saying. I doubt that the birds even realize he's trying, but he thinks they understand him. As long as he's happy (which is all that really matters), I'll let him continue to think that hes chirping correctly.

LOL!!!! Thanks for the laugh, really needed it. Loved it, think the little bugger was trying to get someone in trouble and got busted.

I had a cat, Aristophanes (Arie for short) who would sit and give paw on command like a dog. He was an outside cat but he never left the yard and he would run to the fence gate every night when I came home just like the dog did.

We had a cat like that, too. It would even bring back a ball when thrown away. ( the ball, not the cat! )
But I always laughed when it tried to catch hockey players on the TV screen...
