Gosh. So....you're saying that there has been no increases, and if there were they wouldn't matter anyways.

The FDA and the EPA have been transparent in saying there has been increases. Just nothing above the limits that were set out in 1986 as ceiling.

They even issued one release on I-131 in milk:

Flu kill more people than swine flu? Brilliance. True brilliance there.

It wouldn't even be inaccurate to say that seasonal flu kills more people in a year than swine flu has in any of the breakouts.

Anybody who is still reading through this....this is a great.

Are you convinced by them now?

All is well?

See how this works?

Now here is your reminder of reality:

There is NO SAFE AMOUNT OF RADIATION.

Probably not, people are motivated more by fear than actual knowledge. And that's what you provide, fear.

Yep.

So why do they recommend one get 15 minutes of sunlight per day (To stimulate Vitamin D production), they must be trying to kill us by recommending we get irradiated by the sun.

The only thing you are right about is choosing ATS as your principle means of scaremongering, there are a lot of afraid, uninformed people on here who will take what you've been saying on faith alone.

I have actual standards of evidence, though.

well:

Influenza spreads around the world in seasonal epidemics, resulting in the deaths of between 250,000 and 500,000 people every year,[9] up to millions in some pandemic years. On average 41,400 people died each year in the United States between 1979 and 2001 from influenza.[10]
FLU

I couldn't find numbers quick on swine flu for a yearly total, but there would have to be over 20,000 deaths from it for it to compete with other forms. (Since the avg. is 40,000 deaths a year of all flue strains)

In September 2009 though, the death toll was:

The World Health Organization said Friday that 2,837 people have been reported as swine flu fatalities, as H1N1 ebbs and flows in various parts of the world.
1

I would hazard to guess that Swine Flu hasn't killed so many people compared to other strains as of late.

Um, this really is just fear. You absorb more of said particles from your microwave. Not to mention you absorb many of radioactive origin from the sun and the very Earthy you walk on. It's not going to get "lodged" in. It's going to be removed by the body in its clean up operations. If what he said was true, then we'd already have a huge cancer rate increase from everything from LCD monitors to Fish. We don't.

That's not entirely true: Because the Spanish Flu was H1N1 it is considered to be the same as Swine Flu, even though "Swine Flu" Includes the other subtypes:

The 1918 flu pandemic (the Spanish Flu) was an influenza pandemic, and the first of the two pandemics involving H1N1 influenza virus (the follow-up was the 2009 flu pandemic). It was an unusually severe and deadly pandemic that spread across the world.
1

Swine influenza virus (SIV) or S-OIV (swine-origin influenza virus) is any strain of the influenza family of viruses that is endemic in pigs.[2] As of 2009, the known SIV strains include influenza C and the subtypes of influenza A known as H1N1, H1N2, H3N1, H3N2, and H2N3.

I suppose you were probably referring to the recent outbreaks though.

Flus are all the same. Silliness to mention otherwise!

Solar radiation is the same as Iodine, Cesium, Strontium, etc.

Radiation is happy fun fun, like a day in Hawaii!

Huh, so why were you scaremongering about swine flu?

Not exactly, where would you get a daft idea like that?

There are major problems with this Fukushima thing. Reporting on it seems important, but then again, there really isn't anything that anybody can do about it, so what's the point? I suppose people in Japan, and on the West Coast could decide to not get pregnant for awhile, that might delay the affects? They cannot contain the radiation, it is going to travel the world regardless of our actions. It will add to the other toxic things we already breath and ingest. I don't have the statistics in front of me, but premature births and infant deaths have been on the rise for about a decade already! Here in Florida, we are the worst in the nation!

I am mad at the press for not doing their jobs, but then again, there is really nothing any of us can do about this disaster, we just have to ride it out and hope mother nature somehow corrects it.

We still haven't see the full effects of the BP Oil spill yet! It will take a full decade before the statistics support what most of us already suspect. Now we can say the same for the Japanese disaster. 10 or 20 years from now it will be so clear in hindsight.

Yes 10 years from now everyone will have cancer, deformities and messed up children and theyll turn to the government for help which will come out with a new vaccine to protect everyone that really turns you into a zombie ok that was a little much but you get my point lol

I completely agree with you on this. The guy may as well have a degree in infomercial sales. I can’t find a single orthodox medical professional that concurs with anything this guy says or publishes. He should stick to clay baths.

I swear to God, I don't understand the urge to put these things on the WORST possible places.

Does the word urge make more sense than plan? May reality someday crash through the roof of your house
and glow brightly.

Look here.

so is that giant dome from The Simpsons Movie based on technology that actually exists? because that would really come in handy right now. they ought to have invented those prior to firing up the very first reactor.

Sorry to be off topic for just a sec.....

Hey Aeons, my great uncle was also a Capone croney/assasin! He tried to escape and hide but they eventually caught up to him and let's just say the gas transport truck he was driving for a living 'accidentally' blew up with him in it.

Any chance we are related? All of my family is from Illinois although like you I am long distanced from them since youth.

ON TOPIC - We were living on the west coast until a month ago and I could just not stand knowing that my children were being radiated every day of their lives so we moved far away to escape the population control plan.

I just hope we got far enough away, I'm not sure any place in the world is going to be safe enough from this unprecedented catastrophe.

That's nuts, especially since there's no evidence there is any increased risk to anyone in the United States.

I haven't read all the posts but did someone explain how an acupuncture specialist is qualified to make such claims as an MD?

As far as i recall OMD is not technically a Medical Doctor in the sense we are used to.

Actually one of my Physics teachers had a University Study posted on his door. They gave lethal doses of radiation to rats and of course the rats died. So they spread it out over a few weeks and the rats got sick, mutated and died. So they spread it out over a full year, the rats metabolism changed, and they got larger and lived longer than their counterparts! All the same dose of radiation, just the amount of time it was administered changed! A lethal dose of radiation can make you healthier and live longer if it is administered properly, LOL!

They repeated the study with other types of poisons and got similar results. Stressing a healthy system and making it respond actually makes it healthier, unless you over do it.

Maybe this will help us all live longer?

Do you have a source for a single one of those claims? Especially the weapons program.

Why is that? Nuclear energy is among the safest for our environment. There's only been a handful of accidents, you better believe they were surrounded by scaremongering! Why don't we hold coal plants to the same standards?

I am not anti-nuclear. I am anti-stupidity. This disaster is PURE stupidity.

Brought to you by the brilliant engineers at General Electric. Why don't we make them pay taxes, again?

Uh, wow. No it's not fear mongering, I suggest you crack a history book. Nuclear energy is safe, until it's containment fails. Then it is INSTANTANEOUSLY worse than any other energy source on the planet.

No other energy source is going to kill you with one inhaled particle. That's all I have to say....
