The Truth Is In The Documents

A Congressional Investigation from 1976-1979 found a "probable conspiracy" in the assassination of John F. Kennedy and recommended the Justice Department investigate further. As of 1991, the Justice Department has done nothing. The files of the House Select Committee on Assassinations are locked away until the year 2029.

As most know, I'm a keen researcher of the JFK Assassination case. I also feel that a conspiracy almost certainly took place here in some form and I'm sure one day it can be proven. This being so, I'm a big believer that the way in which this will eventually come about isn't through in-depth analysis by myself or other researchers of the various different parts of the case, Instead, I believe the real truth will undoubtedly come about via documents de-classified for public view.

Due to this, I thought it'd be a pretty good idea to start up a "research thread" like this listing some of the current documents we have readily available to view as it stands today. I'm sure others as well as myself can benefit from a collection of these documents all in one place here such as this after all. Not that I'm claiming any ground-breaking truth is hidden in any of these documents of course, but they do tell us a great deal what what really happened in 1963 still - All in all, they certainly aid in helping us build a more accurate picture of the series of events if you will and they're worth reading through.

Like I said though, this is something of a research thread - one I'm using to try and list various different JFK themed documents from the CIA, FBI, the various investigations over the years and all in one place for easier viewing, as well as for easier use of research. The being so, I hope others interested in this fascinating conspiracy theory will use this thread and I hope others decide to continually add to it also.

It's also worth noting that a great deal of the information found with-in this thread can also been found from this website here (below), the Mary Ferrell collection. Please feel free to look through that but if you scroll down I've added links to the majority of sources found here, in order, as well as from some other sites also.

Mary Ferrell Foundation

Some of these may be helpful, some may not be.. but at least we can see for ourselves which are and which aren't. Bearing this in mind, here are most of the documents I could find for use in this thread..

I look forward to seeing any contributions to this "research thread" one I hope will give us yet another chance to discuss this case much further and in more detail.

Thanks..

Bellow are many of the Official Investigations conducted on the JFK Assassination, many of which hold very interesting material in their documents which are certainly worth a look into.

THE WARREN COMMISSION

The President's Commission on the Assassination of President Kennedy, usually called the Warren Commission after its chairman Chief Justice Earl Warren, conducted hearings in 1964 on the assassination of JFK. It issued its now-famous finding that Lee Harvey Oswald, alone and unaided, killed President Kennedy in Dallas on November 22, 1963. It further found that Jack Ruby's murder of Oswald, while Oswald was in police custody, was also not part of any conspiracy.
In addition to the published 26 volumes of evidence, the released files of the Warren Commission include over 50,000 pages of numbered documents, internal memorandum, transcripts of Executive Sessions, and more. The testimony and files of the Commission serve as an important base of evidence in any understanding of the events in Dallas.

THE GARRISON INVESTIGATION

In late 1966, New Orleans District Attorney quietly opened an investigation into local aspects of the Kennedy assassination. Local reports soon got wind of this, and in early 1967 the investigation quickly gained a national spotlight. Garrison arrested New Orleans businessman Clay Shaw and charged him in the murder of the President. The case went to trial in 1969 and Shaw was acquitted.
Available here is not only the transcript of the Clay Shaw trial, but also grand jury records which had been ordered destroyed at one time, but which were delivered safely to the Assassination Records Review Board in the mid 1990s.

THE ROCKEFELLER COMMISSION

Prior to the so-called Church Committee, the Presidents Commission on CIA Activities Within the United States was formed by President Gerald Ford. Headed by Vice-President Nelson Rockefeller, this body came to be known as the Rockefeller Commission.

The Rockefeller Commission issued a single report in 1975, which delineated some CIA abuses including mail opening and surveillance of domestic dissident groups. It also conducted a narrow study of issues relating to the JFK assassination, specifically the backward head snap as seen in the Zapruder film (first shown publicly in 1975), and the possible presence of E. Howard Hunt and Frank Sturgis in Dallas.

The files of the Rockefeller Commission were reviewed by the Church Committee, and some of them are included as part of the roughly 50,000 pages of declassified Church Committee documents now publicly available at the National Archives.

THE CHURCH COMMITTEE

The Senate Select Committee to Study Governmental Operations with Respect to Intelligence Activities, known as the "Church Committee" after its chairman Frank Church, conducted a wide-ranging investigation of the intelligence agencies in the post-Watergate period.

The Church Committee took public and private testimony from hundreds of people, collected huge volumes of files from the FBI, CIA, NSA, IRS, and many other federal agencies, and issued 14 reports in 1975 and 1976. Since the passage of the JFK Assassination Records Collection Act in 1992, over 50,000 pages of Church Committee records have been declassified and made available to the public. These files contain testimony and information on U.S. attempts to assassinate foreign leaders, on the Church Committee's investigation of the intelligence agencies' response to the JFK assassination, and related topics.

HOUSE SELECT COMMITTEE ON ASSASSINATION (HSCA)

In 1976, the House Select Committee on Assassinations undertook reinvestigations of the murders of John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King, Jr. In 1979, a single Final Report and twelve volumes of appendices on each assassination were published by the Congress. In the JFK case, the HSCA found that there was a "probable conspiracy," though it was unable to determine the nature of that conspiracy or its other participants (besides Oswald). This finding was based in part on acoustics evidence from a tape purported to record the gunfire in Dealey Plaza, but was also based on other evidence including an investigation of Jack Ruby's underworld connections. The acoustics evidence was disputed by a panel of scientists, but that "debunking" has itself been subject to serious challenge in recent years.

The massive internal files of the HSCA were unsealed in the wake of the 1992 JFK Assassination Records Collection Act. Still being digested by researchers, they have shed more light on the assassination itself and also on the conduct of the HSCA's investigation. Contained herein are some of the more important documents from that collection, including the long-desired "Lopez Report" and many formerly-secret depositions.

NARA DOCUMENTS:

The National Archives and Records Administration has on occasion created or released its own documents related to the assassination of President Kennedy. In some cases, such as the "Yeltsin documents" handed by Russian President Boris Yeltsin to President Clinton in 1999, there is no agency other than NARA formally associated with the papers. This set includes some very unique historical documents.

Been doing a little reading. I have to take it slow or my brain doesn't absorb the information. I would love to have been in the interrogation of Oswald. Its hard to determine the true atmosphere just reading what was said.

I do wonder why Oswald would so willingly send them to an address where some of his belongings were knowing there was a picture of him holding a rifle. Perhaps I am just reading too much into it.

I was also intrigued by his adamant denial of the pictures themselves actually being him. He immediately said those were fake and photoshopped. Makes you wonder if he knew at that point that the jig was up.

Another little tidbit that I was never aware of or just never paid any attention too, Is the fact that the FBI agents in the interview had been investigating Oswald three weeks prior to the assissnation. Wow!

Great job as always

peace

There has recently been made public also tapes from his phone calls from the white house and if you listen to those you will come to the conclusion of just how big of an idiot JFK was. Especially his talks with Eisenhower so perhaps that will lead you into a new direction with your investigation.

Eisenhower may have had a part to play along with the CIA.

Does none of you think that all that JFK assasination plot was just a staged fake secene?! Scandals are a part of politics to remove the guys away with a heroic style.... Zapruder film came out after 12 damn years, which was a well done work of the hollywood magicians.

But No, some enthusiastic people must spend their entire lives to this case to find the truth after all the people who were involved in it are dead. Which brings me to the point that how dumbed down must you be to follow those bits (baits) years after year and let the psyops agents make you dance around your own nose. "The New Tapes Came Out"... whoaaaaa.... "A New Document is Released".... OMG I cant believe thaaaaaatttttt

Go some swimming or fishing, enjoy your life in stead of sitting hours long investigating such hoaxes. Now it is out, yes it was a hoax, so, happy? No? OK, than go on researching and let your grandsons research it too while you go down to your grave with some new released documents on your chest. On your grave that will be written "He was so close....Cant Rest in Peace Now"

So-what you're really trying to say is; "Thanks, but no thanks OP, I prefer to keep my head in the sand?" "More sugar in my kool-aid please!"

I'll find the source to what I learned long ago, that the route was changed at the last minute-basically- to put JFK directly into harms way...also the lack of bodyguards- I mean secret service agents responsible for failing to protect the President.

My eyes popped out of my head OP. I've never encountered a thread of this magnitude! Thank you!

Thanks for your post but really, I hate that attitude to things - It's absolutely pointless.

You're practically saying we should just give it up already and move on with our lives.. in other words, you're saying we should happily just let people get away with murder here - murder of the president of a country might I add.

And this wasn't even 50 years ago still.

Anyway, as I've said to people in the past, you should feel free to give up your search for the truth in this case, but I know for sure I certainly won't. I feel this case is just too important to ignore and I think we deserve to know what really happened here.

Well, well, well....look who's back again to make us all look lazy

I'm joking of course!

Awesome job once again RA. I have to admit, even though there is A LOT of information here my very first thought was...."how the hell did he manage to present all of those links without having to edit at least once!?"

So what have the documents you have linked already taught us about the JFK case that stands out?

Awesome thread. S and F. Thanks for sharing all this material, greatly appreciated.

Now I know how gold prospectors felt when they came across a massive nugget of solid gold.
Thanks again.

Except for inauguration or other parades involving foreign dignitaries accompanied by the President in Washington, it has not been the practice of the Secret Service to make surveys or checks of buildings along the route of a Presidential motorcade. For the inauguration and certain other parades in Washington where the traditional route is known to the public long in advance of the event, buildings along the route can be checked by teams of law enforcement officers, and armed guards are posted along the route as appropriate. But on out-of-town trips where the route is decided on and made public only a few days in advance, buildings are not checked either by Secret Service agents or by any other law enforcement officers at the request of the Secret Service. With the number of men available to the Secret Service and the time available, surveys of hundreds of buildings and thousands of windows is not practical. In Dallas the route selected necessarily involved passing through the principal downtown section between tall buildings. While certain streets thought to be too narrow could be avoided and other choices made, it was not practical to select a route where the President could not be seen from roofs or windows of buildings. At the two places in Dallas where the President would remain for a period of time, Love Field and the Trade Mart, arrangements were made for building and roof security by posting police officers where appropriate. Similar arrangements for a motorcade of ten miles, including many blocks of tall commercial buildings is not practical.

It's not "practical" is the explanation. Ain't it nifty how one has to read paragraphs upon paragraphs of useless print to actually learn anything of value? I find it highly impractical to have to read so much dribble to get to the meat of the issue. That's their excuse, protecting the President was not practical.

Hey LF, thanks for your post.

So what have the documents you have linked already taught us about the JFK case that stands out?

For one thing, we can get a hell of a better look at the kind of man Lee Harvey Oswald was, what he did at certain times, where he was etc. etc.

He's someone I've looked at a lot and someone I want to look at further as I'm pretty much convinced he's innocent, so It helps massively in terms of research..

Anyway, another that really sticks out is the Autopsy discrepancies. Particularly from the investigation in the 90's.

In fact, here's a fascinating testimony that sticks out from one of the people who was in charge of developing the autopsy photos: VERBAL Testimony of Saundra Kay Spencer

Why does it stick out? Well, as I said, she developed the official Autopsy photos, but when she was shown them by the Assassination Records Review Board, she testified that they were not the same photos.

The autopsy being one of the most important areas of this entire case, It's pretty significant especially as others in positions like hers tell similar stories in different testimonies.

Autopsy photographer John Stringer for example. FBI agent and autopsy witness Frank O'Neill also.

"This looks like it's been doctored" claims O'Neill in fact.

Here's a nice link discussing all of the above and more.

When will you learn to be an independent human? Why do you care how and why a king (President) has faced the death? All those things are being orchestrated to make you think how hard and dangerous this JOB (being the king) is, hence by putting this message in your subconscious mind you and your people will never have the courage to attend to be a president! You will let think that it is hard therefore you will leave to those who can manage those "dangers".

If you would know the real idea behind all those scandals and assasinations, you would stop to investigate and live your life. Your problem is not that you want to know the truth! You want to show to your fellow citizens how right you are and how bad those three letter agencies are. This my friend is exactly what is being played on you and your alike... make you keep busy and put in a state of comatose animal, so that they can still go on with what they are doing.

I have told you the truth, but still, your inablity to see the SIMPLE facts make you a misarable researcher. Because you act like a citizen and never try to think like an elite! Go on to hate those, accuse them for everything happens around you and forget about how you are being screwed and fooled by your masters.

Let me repeat it to you again... JFK has been retired on a heroic action, hence all his unpatriotic decisions are hidden in the shadows. You watch his speeches on youtube or read some documents about his ideas, hence you think he is the hero, because only a hero can be assasinated by the EVIL forces. It is the same with Saddam or Osama. I know very well these thing wont change your mind and you will still go on to search for the truth, the truth, the truth, the truth... as if nothing in your life more important than a jerk that faked his own death!

So, go on search the truth, find it and than debate with others about the facts and facts and facts, cry out "deny ignorance" and also deny the truth that I have explained it to you right here. Simple truth is never enough right? No, it cant be that SIMPLE riiiiggghhhttttt? This how most of you armchair researchers think!

This weather today is what you see for the last time. Everyday of your life is the last time you see it, you will never experience the same again. Keep researching...

I do wonder why Oswald would so willingly send them to an address where some of his belongings were knowing there was a picture of him holding a rifle. Perhaps I am just reading too much into it.

There's no doubt in my mind that these pictures were faked and or edited. (I say edited as Marina Confirms she took at least one but she continually changed her story about how many)

If you get a chance, please do watch this investigation into the Backyard photos and why they're fake:

And as you rightly said, Oswalds first reaction upon seeing the pictures were of surprise and he claimed his head had been placed on someone elses body.

Wow, I've never seen someone make so many false assumptions before. It's actually funny.

You falsely talk as if you know me personally also. Anyway, let me clarify a few points you made:

Your problem is not that you want to know the truth!

Actually... I do.

I have told you the truth, but still, your inablity to see the SIMPLE facts make you a misarable researcher.

Don't confuse opinion with truth/fact. It's too common a mistake around here.

Go on to hate those, accuse them for everything happens around you and forget about how you are being screwed and fooled by your masters.

I don't hate "the elite" as you put it. In fact if you knew me, you'd know I thought the opposite to what you just claimed. See.. you're just making false assumptions.

hence you think he is the hero

Again.. Wrong.

I know very well these thing wont change your mind

But, and as I've shown, you have absolutely no idea of what I'm thinking.

also deny the truth that I have explained it to you right here.

That's a bold statement for someone who's done no such thing. Are you confusing your opinion with the truth again? (That's a rhetorical question btw.
)

Keep researching...

I will. And I say to you again: Feel free to give up your search for the truth.. I won't.
