The Truth Is In The Documents

A Congressional Investigation from 1976-1979 found a "probable conspiracy" in the assassination of John F. Kennedy and recommended the Justice Department investigate further. As of 1991, the Justice Department has done nothing. The files of the House Select Committee on Assassinations are locked away until the year 2029.

As most know, I'm a keen researcher of the JFK Assassination case. I also feel that a conspiracy almost certainly took place here in some form and I'm sure one day it can be proven. This being so, I'm a big believer that the way in which this will eventually come about isn't through in-depth analysis by myself or other researchers of the various different parts of the case, Instead, I believe the real truth will undoubtedly come about via documents de-classified for public view.

Due to this, I thought it'd be a pretty good idea to start up a "research thread" like this listing some of the current documents we have readily available to view as it stands today. I'm sure others as well as myself can benefit from a collection of these documents all in one place here such as this after all. Not that I'm claiming any ground-breaking truth is hidden in any of these documents of course, but they do tell us a great deal what what really happened in 1963 still - All in all, they certainly aid in helping us build a more accurate picture of the series of events if you will and they're worth reading through.

Like I said though, this is something of a research thread - one I'm using to try and list various different JFK themed documents from the CIA, FBI, the various investigations over the years and all in one place for easier viewing, as well as for easier use of research. The being so, I hope others interested in this fascinating conspiracy theory will use this thread and I hope others decide to continually add to it also.

It's also worth noting that a great deal of the information found with-in this thread can also been found from this website here (below), the Mary Ferrell collection. Please feel free to look through that but if you scroll down I've added links to the majority of sources found here, in order, as well as from some other sites also.

Some of these may be helpful, some may not be.. but at least we can see for ourselves which are and which aren't. Bearing this in mind, here are most of the documents I could find for use in this thread..

The President's Commission on the Assassination of President Kennedy, usually called the Warren Commission after its chairman Chief Justice Earl Warren, conducted hearings in 1964 on the assassination of JFK. It issued its now-famous finding that Lee Harvey Oswald, alone and unaided, killed President Kennedy in Dallas on November 22, 1963. It further found that Jack Ruby's murder of Oswald, while Oswald was in police custody, was also not part of any conspiracy.
In addition to the published 26 volumes of evidence, the released files of the Warren Commission include over 50,000 pages of numbered documents, internal memorandum, transcripts of Executive Sessions, and more. The testimony and files of the Commission serve as an important base of evidence in any understanding of the events in Dallas.

THE GARRISON INVESTIGATION

In late 1966, New Orleans District Attorney quietly opened an investigation into local aspects of the Kennedy assassination. Local reports soon got wind of this, and in early 1967 the investigation quickly gained a national spotlight. Garrison arrested New Orleans businessman Clay Shaw and charged him in the murder of the President. The case went to trial in 1969 and Shaw was acquitted.
Available here is not only the transcript of the Clay Shaw trial, but also grand jury records which had been ordered destroyed at one time, but which were delivered safely to the Assassination Records Review Board in the mid 1990s.
