Hello all

So i have been pondering.
Why is it that dreams always feel so real, that the only thing that makes them not real is waking up.
How do i really know what is a dream and what is reality ?

If i was to sleep for lets say a week, and dream the whole time, would the dream become the reality as that is where my mind is ?

Reality is a state of mind depending on your conscious state.

If you were to never awake from a lucid dream that would be your reality....there would be no way you could tell you were asleep.

You should check out "Lucid Dreaming." It is absolutely amazing and you can practically do anything you imagine. You can literally change reality.

Maybe the thing that makes them "not real" to you is that you have a belief that dreams are all imaginings happening in your head?

Dreams are experiences. On another plane. Just as you experience stuff in your waking life in this world, you experience stuff in the dreamscape while asleep.

Ah ha. This is a idea in Buddhism. When we wake up from a dream, we wake back into unreality.

What if the Dream world is real and the one we live daily is an illusion?

I've been thinking that for a couple of months, you have no idea how disconnected i was when i first started thinking about it. If you're going to think like that, be prepared for a total mind *&%$. Message me if you need to talk bahahahah.
