The beating heart thus worn on my sleeve
is no longer stifled, unable to breathe.
Once hidden in shadows dark as the night,
it's emerged into sunlight, the rays are so bright

Pulsating thro incarnations, thro infinite time,
this heart has seen action of red roses and wine,
plus heartache and heartbreak, the ying and the yang,
romance and blues this ol' heart has sang.
