Well I'm not a liar. I'm pretty sure I don't have a mental disorder.

So I guess I was just sleep deprived. I haven't heard the music since then. So I guess it's all good now.

Sorry I haven't posted an update I've been doing other things and posting other threads.

Could be worse, it could be hushed generic Katy Perry or Justin Bieber haunting your ears. In all seriousness though, go see an audiologist you might have tinnitus. I hope for your sake you didn't listen to music wearing headphones at really high volumes when you were younger. This condition, tinnitus, is permanent. en.wikipedia.org...

My uncle has it from all the explosions and bullets firing in Vietnam. They weren't too big on ear plugs 40 years ago.

the same sort of thing is happening to me..
It first started on the 21/5/2011 at around 7.30pm gmt..
It was like someone turning on an old radio you know
the ones that had the old light bulbs in the back..
all i hear all day and night is a humming. When i listen
and concentrate i hear load muffled voices mainly male..
I can hear women talking and children playing but nothing clear..
Its just like a microphone being left on..
And its not tinitus..

Aha! You know, I used to suffer from really bad ear infections as well, not to the point that I needed tubes in, but it would happen frequently. Who knows what damage that did. I could actually be suffering from mild tinnitus, but I always discounted that because of my good hearing. I guess the two aren't mutually exclusive. That might explain why the noise was louder when I was younger, the damage would have been fresher and will have healed pretty good by now.

What logical reasons might exist to explain what you're hearing?

No real conclusion other than the usual "You're hearing things"

lol I've been getting some pretty good sleep. Except when it's storming and my German Shepard breaks into my room and jumps on my bed. It's never fun.

Then she likes to hide under my computer desk. I'm afraid she's gonna break something.

Maybe this is a bit of a long shot but maybe if you have metal molars or metal teeth they are picking up radio signals, I know my ipod does that when its plugged into my computer and Im listening to music.

I think the OP is referencing the cylon-activation music in Battlestar Galactica. Let me know if you see a vision of Jimi Hendrix or any dead viper pilots.

Thank you for saying that. I didn't want to be mean or anything, and I didn't want to not take his problem seriously but if nobody else told him I was going to HAVE to be the one to break it to him that he was a cylon and had been activated. I didn't want that responsibility. So, again, thank you!

I'm assuming that is real, but I'm not gonna lie...I laughed at first thinking it was a joke.
