Odes To Daddies Everywhere!

In honor of Fathers Day, I thought I would jot a quick poem for my dad! Feel free to post one too!!!

Thank you daddy for loving me
and the times I thought you were mean
now I am grown and realize
you were just protecting me!

Thank you that you worked 2 jobs
to provide for all my needs
and for the wisdom you implanted
its grown like tiny seeds

Thank you for the times we played
and even the times we cried
thank you for whooping my butt
that one time when I lied

Thank you daddy from my heart
for all the things you do
but thank you most of all
for just being you!

Any man can be a father, it takes a special man to be a daddy!

I have five children, four of them natural, one adopted. Two are daughters.

I wish I could see them more.
