And those grid lines are still there even when the whole moon is photographed.
Usually when I mention this someone says that's because the pic wa taken in pieces and them put together.

I'm not sure what you are getting at here.
Would you like to point it out?

I'm thinking a misplaced post from another thread. Surly it can't be the radial streaks of fine ejecta thrown out during the formation of impact craters that is being referred to.
