Co workers husband being sent Korea & he plays in the band

One of the other managers, who just found out she is pregnant, came in today very upset because her husband is now being sent to Korea. They just got here to Louisville a bit ago....she said that he was to be here for two years and now they are sending him there....to top it off, his function in the army is that he plays horns for the US Army band...but they are wanting those trained in combat, so he is being sent.......

that's pretty sad for your friend, i'm sure she'll need all the support she can get while he is away.

Not that big of a deal. I spent a year there and just got back. I couldnt' take my wife and daughter and my wife was pregnant at the time. Year goes by fast. Just keep him in check money wise so he don't spend it all is the advice I have. Lots of soldiers get there and get caught up in the cheap booze. Just tell her to keep calling and talking on the computer and all every day.
