Humm we are not just talking snow blown off the tops of mountains here we are talking fresh water lakes at 38°F in the middle of the coldest cotenant on earth.

To me that warrants investigating on its own.

Yep need a boat and at least twenty years of my life and loads of other kit which amounts to a great deal on money.

Ok proof that there is something going on down there.

Well as is documented prior to WW2 the Nazis where interested.

Operation HIGHJUMP happened and this was an invasion no small deal at all. 5000 men 30 ships plus a aircraft carrier.

Then look at what happened to James Forestall.

Aircraft that can fly from pole to pole at fantastic speed, Byrds words not mine.

Three hours of missing time with no fuel to cover it and no where to land.

What you can’t see on Google earth, look at how the south pole is blocked out.

Land with out ice or snow and liquid fresh water lakes.

All these things are fact.

Too me this all points to massive cover up.

I'm actually pretty disappointed in the images available on the LIMA site. I can only get TIFF images and the quality is less than the LIMA images that Google uses in spots. I emailed the USGS to see if better images are available but think post office not NWO with the USGS. I might be missing something and if someone with more experience with satellite photos can chime in, might be a different format and a viewer necessary to get best resolution images.

Also sent email to LIMA requesting higher res image of the "saucer" and ice lines from OP article link


crazy that we can get HiRISE images of Mars at 0.5m per pixel and best we can get of Antarctica is 15m per pixel

Hearsay and rumors as far as I'm concerned. Group it up with the other bizarre tall tales we've heard. They all sound like science fiction, which makes them so appealing.

These are facts and they make in my opinion a compelling point.

No, not going to add much to this thread beyond my attention. there is alot of threads out there about Byrd..hopefully they can just confirm this as a reality...send some teams of investigators down there, etc.

It's sad most people ignore this hot story. It all makes sense if you have the right knowledge. Officially Germany is still at war and Germany is still occupied. The Federal Republic of Germany is an illegal state. Why? Because not all of of their territory is occupied. Neu Schwabenland aka New Swabia, Antarctica is part of the third Reich and Byrd didn't succeed when he tried to invade German territory.

BTW Watch the interesting interview with Stan Deyo (end of video), he claims that there are many man made UFOs.

After reading and reading the accounts of Admiral Byrd, and everything that accompanies it - from the Inuit knowing that the gods came up from the centre of the earth, to google earth blocking out the poles -
does make one wonder.
