Getting ready to sell your house? Good. You expect to make a modest profit because you've kept it in tip top shape and faithfully paid the mortgage each month...
And Obamacare? So What? Health care has nothing to do with real estate, right?
Well, get ready to be surprised. Barry O has decided to slap a 3.8% "Change You Can Believe In" surtax on the obscene capitalistic profits that you might realize. He needs it to "redistribute" it to whomever he decides is more worthy of your money than you are.

You know what the problem with this is? Bias Web Sources.
Isn't this a site for people who question everything? Where's the Actual Source? I'll read that with an open mind but until then, this is just right wing rhetoric, not fact.
In reaction to the Fukushima catastrophe, Germany is phasing out all of its nuclear reactors over the next decade. In a referendum vote this Monday, 95 per cent of Italians voted in favour of blocking a nuclear power revival in their country. A recent newspaper poll in Japan shows nearly three-quarters of respondents favour a phase-out of nuclear power in Japan. Nuclear operator Exelon Corporation has been among Barack Obama's biggest campaign donors, and is one of the largest employers in Illinois where Obama was senator. Exelon has donated more than $269,000 to his political campaigns, thus far. Obama also appointed Exelon CEO John Rowe to his Blue Ribbon Commission on America's Nuclear Future

It's never YOUR money to begin with, your borrow that money from the state in order to trade it for goods. They own the money which you owe interest on, which means, they can collect all of the money you think you own. You want proof? Go burn money in front of a cop and trust me, it won't be long until they arrest you.
It's an illusion to keep people like you who use words which represents concepts you don't understand such as "socialism", content with what they think they have without asking any further question and defending a government which they are gullible enough to believe are their to represent them.
You're a slave, nothing more... at least 'socialists' want the best for YOU and not just the Elite and trust me, you're not the Elite; if you were, you wouldn't be chatting on here.edit on 17-6-2011 by Cocasinpry because: Typos.. it's way too early.

Whether we want it or not. Whether we need it or not. And at any cost.
To the OP, good post. I'll be selling my house next year (hopefully) so maybe I can dodge it. Thanks for the info.

WRONG. It is not false. There are certain thresholds to reach, but Snopes conveniently omits them. And it's another lie from Obama..he said if you make less than X not a single penny of tax increase will you see. And it's just one of many such 'surprises' hidden in Obamacare.
And Snopes is 100% wrong on at least one issue: the thresholds they cite as $500,000 for joint returns and $250,000 on individual returns. The true figures are $250,000 joint and $125,000 on individual returns.edit on 17-6-2011 by mishigas because: (no reason given)
