Again, conspiracy theorists constantly hurt their own credibility with society because of wild outlandish stances on not just one subject at a time, but many simultaneously. Such rhetoric

Pointing out that rich people conspire to stay rich, is not "rhetoric".

Keeping a body count, and the details of the dead, and why Chandra Levy was killed, and what her boyfriend in power was doing, this is not rhetoric. Rhetoric is repeated words that have no meaning because they are predictable. No, see conspiracy researchers are nothing like that. You need to learn the English language if you want to compete.

Conspiracy researchers use the Internet for bouyance of truth. Only someone non-truth aligned, would call it rhetoric. Truthfully, conspiracy is the boat this world floats on.

EXAMPLE: Gerald Ford is a non elected president. There would open and clear conspiracy to choose him. To attach "theorist" to the word, shows that you know nothing, or you know, and are threatened. But history need not frighten you, or threaten your world. Really, it is only the stability of your own psychological world, which is threatened by truth of conspiracy. And when Rumsfeld and Cheney snuck in and when Bush tried to take Gerald out, this should not surprise you, you should not be threatened to finally understand why people do things. For example, why didn't Gerald choose G. Bush Sr. for his Veep? No, when he went with Rockefeller, the blood was gonna flow. But who knew these chicks were such bad shots!

Seriously, the Bushes and the Hinkley's knew each other! No big deal, it's the way these things are done! Nelson Rockefeller and Lord Nate Rothschild are of the same cloth, but a man like Gerald Ford better choose carefully eh? Haha.

Seriously QP, history need not scare you. Tell you "fellow citizens" they need to just relax and realize that Internet Protocol has caused critical truth-mass and so now all politicians, and therefore all lobbyists, drug dealers and pimps, are obsolete.

Internet Protocol inflates truth research like nothing else. Now that truth about Hitler, Bnai Brith, Scots Masonic origins of the KKK and so on, are available for anyone on the planet to read, so long as they can get Internet? Well, it means that the old lies and hidden brotherhoods, are now terminally vectored.

You're just upset, like all passengers, that the old systems didn't survive Internet Protocol. But it was only a natural course that IP would replace leeches like politicians anyway. With IM and chat, we don't need them anymore. You are upset, that is clear, but this thing happening is kinda like motherhood, just go with the birth of Internet Protocol and realize that it ends all the old ways. ATS, this domain that domain --they are all the fore runners of SUPERWIKI which will be P2P and massive, and will contain all truths.

Your world of Weiners, Boehners, Bushes and Gore, cannot compare with what Internet has to offer humanity. So relax, and go with it. Its like birth you know, messy but brings more joy than pain. You're focused on the pain of the event, focus on the joy.

Dear Mr. Sunstein,

1. Gossip is good for you, as recently 'discovered'.
2. ATS exists because schools have failed, law enforcement has become over the top brutal and the governments seem to be corrupt.
3. People like philosophising, and the mystery that is the universe.
4. People like working things out.

So, don't you think thats its better for everyone involved if we just try to do our best here? If you're that worried, come and join in...don't be shy...give it a try...you may even like it here

All I hear him saying is
"I see smart people,I feel threatened, lets get rid of smart people"
They're plan of fooling the sheep is failing and they are scrambling
to find a way to stop us.

Conspiracy beliefs lead to violence haha thats a good one.

You got it all wrong man!

FREEDOM leads to violence.

Gotta suppress all the people and control every single bit of their life.

Now that will get rid of the violence.

Gosh he sure looks a lot like dick Cheney doesn't he?

I looked up Saul Alinsky and he sounds like a real charmer:

There's another reason for working inside the system. Dostoevski said that taking a new step is what people fear most. Any revolutionary change must be preceded by a passive, affirmative, non-challenging attitude toward change among the mass of our people. They must feel so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so futureless in the prevailing system that they are willing to let go of the past and change the future. This acceptance is the reformation essential to any revolution.

From Rules for Radicals by Saul Alinsky

.... “Question with boldness even the existence of God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason than that of blindfolded fear” - Thomas Jefferson

I am guessing by Sunstein's overall attitude that the very core beliefs and attitudes of those brave, wise men who founded our nation would be enough to brand them subversives and possible traitors. Okay, to the BRITISH that was certainly true, but this is still the same America these men founded for us to live in some 200+ years later. What has happened to us?

Dear Sunstein ( is that how you spell it?)

To me, You are the ignorant and uneducated one. We are way more intellectual as you, Most of us anyway. We actually try to figure out problems, We actually study philosophy not just because its an interest, But OUR world needs it. The mainstream public call us conspiracy theorists crazy because they don't really know what the world is like. Oh, and their to ignorant, lets see, does this equation make sense? 9/11 bombings + people saying they were muslim + automatically assuming they were iraqi ( forget about bosnia, serbia, turkey etc). = WAR WITH IRAQ. we found Obama bin laden. we should be pulling out. But are we? NO....

Is Sunstein a dual citizen? I've seen a few conspiracy documentaries that make the assertion that there are a number of high ranking politicians that hold dual citizenship with Israel but I don't know if that is actually true or not.

Very strange if it is. Especially when you factor in how many Jewish-American citizens there are in this country.

Alinsky was a marxist and extreme radical.

many liberal politicians follow Alinsky's "ways" !

be careful....be VERY careful !

Hillary is a BIG fan ... she wrote a senior thesis in college on Alinsky !

When I was in high school, I was a fan of some really distasteful music. Music that I have no interest in hearing these days. That was less than a decade ago. Hillary was in college when? Just because a person writes a paper on someone in the 60's, it does not make them a fan. Not to mention you just kinda blurted out that the man we were originally talking about is also a fan, with no link to that info. Stop perpetuating information you know nothing of.

Perhaps.

But why then are you here?

Many of the types of posts/threads you have cited are actually based on beliefs that are at worst in the same category as telepathic-zombie-space-jews saving your soul. There are threads that I shake my head at...but to each thier own.

To disagree with someone is one thing, to say that thier beliefs are due to lack of critical reasoning is arrogant.

What matters, right or wrong, is the freedom to express those views. The actual complaint here is very simple...regardless of what they may be labelled, too many people are not buying into the propaganda anymore. Instead they are turning thier under-developed reasoning skills to outlets that are telling them things that TPTB are not in control of.

Maybe 90% is garbage, but it's garbage that hasn't been pre-approved for the masses.

ETA...

There is another way of viewing this issue too...

If so many people have such poor reasoning skills then why are there not tighter controls on TV? If critical reasoning is such an issue then most of the programming on television needs to be pulled immediately.

Look at what people are being led to believe through that medium.

Here's what he can do: Confront every conspiracy on this site and debunk the theory with certifiable evidence, reasoning, and logic. Even the most hardcore conspiracy theorist would have a difficult time arguing something in the face of evidence and facts to the contrary.

Here's what can't do: Call every conspiracy theory and theorist out without any logical for factual backing.

If he has a problem with people who believe wild concepts, he should confront every politician who worships God. Is it appropriate to go around claiming that everybody who believes in the unknown and the supernatural is an extremist that needs to be controlled? His type of overreaching and overbearing mentality on this issue is dangerous and extremist.

think about it: if disinformation agents / government infiltrators do exist - this is EXACTLY where you'd find them.

it's that simple

to think that there is not at least one single member posting here that doesn't have motives to sincerely cover up the/a truth is ( put blatantly ) stupidity.

You are all being paranoid.

No one gives a crap about a site like this.

As far as everyone is concerned the normal world has no interest in ATS. Its still considered a joke amoung the living. I don't tell people I have joined purely so I don't become the loser at work.

We all know Mr Sunstein and he is part joke and part nomad. Next week he will be looking into piracy sites.

The people on ATS are so up their own asses think the government gives two craps about people who are in the most part unemployed with too much time on their hands.

There is no one trying to get YOU!!

I wonder how many of those are distractions mounted so as to discredit the entire range of 'conspiracy theories'?

Personally, I also wonder how long it takes a 'coincidence theorist' to recognise the fact that there are too many patterns playing out for casual dismissal.

Then why are you here?

For every outlandish post, there are those who try to inject some reasonable discourse...the result is everybody learns a little something. It's an option you might wish to consider. Fact is, there are those who come here with an agenda and experienced members soon learn to recognise them for what they are. Yes, we are attracting attention in a variety of circles, and in this day and age, for sure we are being monitored.

Considering some of the tripe i see posted here trying to shine snip into shinola, i'd say there is legitimate reason for concern.

the problem of course, is those people merely want attention. so the govt is giving them what they want.

Gov: dont feed the ATS Trolls!

well,

general research show Hillary and Sunstein both have "leftist" views.

Their general demeanor, policies, speeches and especially their actions point to the Alinsky agendas.

its all public record......

I stand by my opinions.

to change MY mind, you must convince ME otherwise.

your opinion alone will not change the facts.

and normally, "Saul Alinsky" in quotes is usually synonomous with marxism.

i would be very interested in seeing some facts that point to Sunstein or Hillary having "right wing" policies, or anti-marxist agendas or views.

here are some links with views and opinions to consider;

The 9/11 board is pretty interesting. There is at least a handful of posters on there that do nothing but argue with "9/11 Truthers", day after day, week after week, which I find to be beyond strange. It makes sense to me that if someone thinks 9/11 isn't what the government says it is that they would have motivation or interest in finding what they think is evidence and pursue that topic, but if you think the 9/11 OS is true what motivation is there to continually go on that board and just repeat that day after day? It's just bizarre, unless...

As far as I can tell these posters do not post on any other topics at all on here and do nothing but attack anyone that thinks the official story is untrue.

So conspiracies don't exist after all? Whew! Looks like we can get rid of affirmative action (no conspiracy against blacks or other minorities), forget about the holocaust (never a conspiracy against jews), and let every mobster out of prison (there goes RICO). I wonder how many people are wrongfully indicted every year on conspiracy charges? Hmmm . . . I should write my senator.

Looks like we'll have to rewrite a great deal of history too. Kinda odd that all those senators would simultaneously secret knives into the Senate to assassinate Caesar at the exact same time without any prior plotting, but hey, if the suits say men in power never conspire, I suppose it's so.

By the way, I don't know how Sunstein's all of a sudden became an 'Alinsky radical'. Besides him being pretty pro establishment, I recall him standing up for Bush Jr.'s policies quite a bit.

Great.... by Sunstein's theory we may have never found out about MK-Ultra the United States government poisoning its own people during prohibition times and America infecting 3rd world countries with syphilis to do vaccine testing...because after all every conspiracy theory known to man has been proven wrong right???...um NO.... this guy is a whack job.
