Genetic Savings & Clone will clone your cat for you.For the first time, GSC can now offer commercial cat cloning with a very high standard of health and physical resemblance between genetic donor and clones, thanks to our new chromatin transfer (CT) technology. We've just produced the first two cloned kittens by CT, both of which are healthy and normal after being born June 10 and 12.

For the small fee of $50,000 USD you can clone your favorite feline friend. Starting in 2005 you will be able to clone your dog too. Eight of the nine spots of the ''Nine lives extravaganza'' are already taken so hurry up and put your order in today.

I saw this company on Techtv awhile ago and thought Id share it and see what people thought of it. They said this company was created and funded by a billionare that really liked his dog and wanted it cloned. They also said cloning a dog was harder then cloning a Human.

That costs a bit much for a cat.
The cost of cloning humans, even with
the intensive monitoring that Clonaid
provides, is only a few times larger.

They claim it is harder to clone a cat or dog then it is to clone a human. They say that there is alot less info on the physiology of a cat or dog compared to a human. Also the time that a female cat or dog is fertile is alot less often then that of a human.

Ps. Has clonaid even proved that they have cloned a human yet?

Hate to tell you this, just don't get your female fixed, she'll clone herself, it won't cost you a cent. I'm living this nightmare.

Eat them instead...........good recipe!!!!!!!!!

I debunk this recipe. Although it uses Guniness, there is no use of curry or thyme.

I would want to know exactly what they mean by
more difficult to accept their statment that it
is in fact more difficult. As to Clonaid they
have implanted fertile eggs with original
nuclear material replaced by that of cells other
than sperm cells of the human being cloned. By
definition that is cloning. It is not the
procedure that is being questioned by critics..
the cloning is real.. but rather are the clones
without genetic defects? A cellular enzyme
normally lengthens telomeres in embryo and fetal
life, (these are gene structures that indicate
how many times cells can divide), and if the
enzyme functioned properly then the human clones
should not suffer from premature aging. But this
is still a question to be answered.

That would be the extra tasty CRISPY version. I'm betting it's not finger licking good, or the Colonel would have cornered the market by now.

But if you cloned your cat, it would only look the same.
It wont have the same personality.
It might not even like you like your current one does...
Ill say, dont bother.

"Not the same personality"..., hey that gave me an idea.
If you cloned a good looking female into 100 copies,
You would then have that good looking female with 100 different personalities. Pick and choose the one you like...
Oh, oh.. Asking for trouble here...

Thats were it gets tricky is it a animal's Genes or is it that enviroment that determines a animals personality? If you raised it the same way would it act the same as the first?

But the real question is would you eat a cloned cat? Some cattle companies have already started to clone what they consider the perfect cows.

Taste that cloned goodness

All goes in the same hole, and all comes out the same colour (if not, may I suggest a doctor?)

Just bring the Guiness Shadow, and we can have a banquet!

failing that, we could start a line of organic cat meat, and setup a farm.......allow them to graze freely, before "processing" them............
