Well the problem is going to get worse, and if people would realize that women are not sex objects, QUIT DRESSING THEM UP TO BE ONE!

Frankly I am disgusted at how they portray women all over the media. Music videos, billboards, ads on the internet, tv shows, movies and its goes on and on. The reason men fantasize about women is because the sick 'Dinosaur Media' wants men to do this, so they have more rape, pornography websites, women's sexual fashion clothing like lingerie and skantily clad clothing like bathing suits. Have you noticed over the past 50 to 75 years the types of clothes women have changed from? From showing your ankles, to now barely covering the nipples and well 'vagina' to be honest.

Its sad, and soon people will only be thinking of women naked cause well, TEMP THE MEN SOME MORE what do you think is gonna happen??? If the women wouldnt buy those sex suits aka bathing suits, and the mini mini shorts, tight tank tops and shirts, we wouldnt have this problem near as bad.

Men think dirty because the women dress dirty. Quit dressing dirty you women and then the problem will go down to a minimum!

So you are saying that men didn't fantasize about women before there was mass media? And somehow now the mass media is promoting all those things you mentioned.... I don't see it.

You think because you wouldnt wear all that make-up, tight clothes, thongs and such you wouldnt find a good man? Obviously you don't know men, and for myself, I avoid the women who involve themselves with makeup, thongs, tight shirts.

Why dont you just do what you said? Are you compromising just to fit in? Thats exactly what it is. Don't compromise, do whats right. And you will find a right guy.

The fact the sex is promoted EVERYWHERE and children are exposed to it on a daily basis is just terrible. Yes, I know it's human nature but the things children are exposed to set the stage for what's accepted and practiced in the future. As a mother of 3 girls I can say I am scared to death for them, especially knowing the STD rates and watching them climb. My 2 oldest (7 and 10) both new what sex was at a very young age unfortunately. It is the parents fault but it's also very hard to keep them sheltered in todays society with the major culprit being television. Children are the future, we all should really be more careful and do our best to keep their innocence as long as possible and change the way sex is viewed...

Who do you think runs the media? The womens rights movement? Child protection services? Understand, the media is run by sick minded people cause they got their pockets to fill, they sexual desires to service and destroy the image what a woman is, cause in the end they dont care.

This is a conspiracy, and if you cant see it, well thats a sad thing. I cant remember where, I heard somewhere that the same guy who owns a bunch of porn sites, is a manager in Fox News or CBS, or something of the sort.

You think the Devil, is not gonna use all his ammo and weaponry to wreck havoc on this planet and ruin the image or creation Yahuwah our Heavenly Father made? Thats the real motive behind all this. Not that mans urges to have sex is evil, but to manipulate society to make women so accessible and screw up every good thing that Yahuwah created and make it twisted and wrong, is whats evil.

I absolutely agree with you. The biggest problem is that "I" am viewed as the crazy person when this subject comes up. People just have no clue and don't care to either... Sad

You have a point tho, fantasizing about women is natural, however, fantasizing about women with no intent of any emotional connection could be a result of the desensitizing, disassociating, and disconnecting society we live in today.

The reason the media is being directed towards destroying women and men's natural status, is because they are actually trying to destroy the "family unit".

They want a dystopian future where no one knows who their parents are. No one knows their brothers or sisters.

In that future nightmare world, it's extremely easy to brainwash and control people. Their memories are lacking, and they are doped up with all kinds of chemical medications.

When you have family you have people you can rely on when times get really tough. In the future nightmare world they are creating for us, there will be no one to rely on except big brother.

That's what all of this is Really About.

I just wish there was more good people out there. But I know its less and less everyday, since the world is getting more twisted, gross, sexually perverted, and its ruining the next generation of children.

In 10 years time, what do you think people will dress like at school, or on TV? When I went to school 10 to 15 years ago, girls on average were not wearing skin tight shirts and jeans, lou lou lemon pants, super short shorts and mini shorts. Just in my small lifetime I can see where this is headed. And at a younger age its getting worse.

When you hear a 10 year old girl wanting to dress up like a street tramp or the music singer on tv like Britney Spears, or Miley Cyrus, with the makeup, clothes and attitude with it. You really wonder why she is thinking like that? Who is her role model? Her mother and family or the TV?

We need better role model mothers and daughters and sisters to say no to sexy clothes and yes to comfortable and sensible clothes.

Well, now that you brought up God and Religion you have by default, lost this argument. For a better understanding of my position you can Read my posts in this thread.

As for the Religion argument, maybe you should check out the history of prostitution first. See how accessible women used to be and compare it to now.

If anything, the shame needs to be removed from all personal affairs for people so they can develop lines of communication. And the foundation of your position is not helping that cause.

Yeap thats what I was getting at. Its about ruining the family to make it more dissociated from the norm. Do you notice how many more movies portray single parent families and divorce? Its like they are trying to say "Its Normal to have a dad and no mother or vice versa".

If you understand my point, believing in a Creator and purpose to life makes this OP relevant! But if you believe we came from an explosion of nothing, that no one has been able to reproduce in the lab, and claim we came from monkeys or whatever new theory is being cooked up these days, then this issue is meaningless.

Please don't derail this thread into biblical rhetoric. Just so you know. us "non-creationists" don't base our morals, ethics on some emotional notion that we are going to hell if we don't do well with our lives.

Personally I base it on things like, 'what does my impact have on the people around me?'. Etc.

As a woman, I hate this!

But, that aside, one of the most obnoxious examples of the sexualisation of women has to be in the trailer for the new TV show on Lifetime called 'The Protector'. These promos are shown on A&E I think... (All US television stations FYI) The premise of the show is that this woman is a cop and the 'protector' of her family, herself, the community, etc. but you wouldn't gather that from the promo -- they pan over her body continuously, her backside, her breasts, and then the camera watches as she saunters away.

I'm sitting here thinking "WHAT THE HELL? This is supposed to be about a woman cop!?"

I can explain why you are more sexually attracted to people in horror movies its a simple psychological concept. Fear and arousal are correlated based of studies done. In one study participants were asked to cross a rope bridge that was X number of feet high (Can't recall exact number but it was a high up bridge) or on the shorter bridge. At the end of the bridge was a confederate (actor) who would talk with the participant and ask them out, those on the higher bridge were more likely to say yes and provide their number to the confederate than those on the lower bridge.

Basically Horror movies are a sexual stimulant. Doesn't make you twisted its natural.
